경로당의 치매 예방 프로그램 운영 경험 : 보건의료공무원을 대상으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 경로당 중심 치매 예방 프로그램을 운영 경험의 의미와 본질을 탐색하기 위해 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 방법을 사용한 질적 조사 연구이다. 일개 지역 보건의료 공무원을 대상으로 2019년 6월 20일부터 7월 30일까지 반구조화 된 질문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 질적 내용 분석으로 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, ‘혼자 감당해야 하는 버거움 , 정과 보람으로 견딤 , 더불어 사는 삶에 대한 사명감 으로 3개 주제 모음으로 구성되었다. 혼자 감당해야 하는 버거움의 하위 주제는 과다한 업무로 인한 소진 , 프로그램 운영에 대한 부담 , 추가 교육의 필요성 절감 , 대상자와 소통의 어려움 이다. 정과 보람으로 견딤의 하위 주제는 대상자에게 애착이 감 , 성장과 보람을 느낌 , 대상자들의 반응에 힘을 얻음 이다. 마지막으로 더불어 사는 삶에 대한 사명감의 하위주제는 서로 나누며 함께 가는 길 , 내가 할 일이라고 생각함 이다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 치매 질환 특성상 치매 예방 프로그램 지속성을 위해 지역사회 자원과 포괄적으로 연계·협력하여 대상자 중심의 통합서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 학계와 관련 단체, 국가 차원의 지원이 절실히 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate a qualitative research using focus group interview to explore the essential meaning and nature of the operational experience of dementia prevention programs centered on senior centers. Data were collected using semi-structured questionnaires and analyzed through qualitative analysis of the data from June 20 to July 30, 2019 for a single local health care public community. According to the analysis, it consisted of three theme clusters: the burden of doing alone , endure with affection and satisfaction’, and ‘a sense of mission for living together’. Themes of the burden of doing alone are ‘exhaustion due to overwork’, ‘burden on program operations’, ‘feeling the need for additional education’ and ‘difficulty communicating with the subjects’. Themes of enduring with affection and satisfaction are ‘attached to the subjects’, ‘feeling growing and rewarding’ and ‘obtain power to the reaction of subjects’. And Themes of a sense of mission for living together are ‘way to share with each other’, ‘I think it s my job to do’. Based on the results of these studies, it is urgently needed to provide support at the academic, relevant organizations and national level so that the community resources can be comprehensively linked and cooperated to provide integrated services focused on the subjects for the continuation of dementia prevention programs.
