양육태도와 성격강점이 회복탄력성과 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 양육태도와 성격강점이 회복탄력성과 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 대전에 거주하는 초등학생 302명을 대상으로 양육태도, 성격강점, 회복탄력성 및 학교생황적응 척도를 포함한 질문지를 구성하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SAS 9.4를 이용하여 사용된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보고, 양육태도와 성격강점에 따른 회복탄력성과 학교생활적응의 차이를 이원분산분석을 통하여 검토하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 첫째, 사용된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도가 우수하였다. 둘째, 양육태도가 좋은 학생들은 그렇지 않은 학생들보다 회복탄력성이 더 높았다. 셋째, 성격강점이 높은 학생들은 성격강점이 낮은 학생들보다 회복탄력성이 더 높았다. 넷째, 회복탄력성에 대한 양육태도와 성격강점의 상호작용효과는 나타나지 않았다. 다섯째, 양육태도가 좋은 학생들은 그렇지 않은 학생들보다 학교생활적응을 더 잘 하였다. 여섯째, 성격강점이 높은 학생들은 성격강점이 낮은 학생들보다 학교생활적응을 더 잘 하였다. 일곱째, 학교생활적응에 대한 양육태도와 성격강점의 상호작용효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이런 연구결과는 양육태도와 성격강점이 초등학생의 회복탄력성을 제고시키고 학교생활적응을 더 잘 할 수 있는 효과적인 방안임을 보여주는 것이다. 끝으로, 이번 연구의 제한점과 앞으로의 연구방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine effects of parenting attitude and character strength on resilience and adaptation to school life. Data were collected by questionnaire including scales of parenting attitude, character strength, resilience and adaptation to school life from 302 elementary school students residing in Daejeon. The collected data were used to determine the reliability and validity of the scales used using SAS 9.4, and differences in resilience and adaptation to school life according to parenting attitude and character strength were tested through two-way ANOVA. According to result, first, the reliability and validity of scales used were excellent. Second, the students with higher parenting attitudes demonstrated a higher level of parenting attitude than those with lower parenting attitudes. Third, the students with higher character strengths showed more resilience than those with lower character strengths. Fourth, the interaction effect of parenting attitude and character strength to resilience was not. Fifth, the students with higher parenting attitudes demonstrated a higher level of adaptation than those with lower parenting in a school life. Sixth, students who have higher character strength more adaptable than those who have lower in a school life. Seventh, the interaction effect of parenting attitude and character strength to adaptation of school life was not. These findings show that increasing parenting attitude and character strength are effective ways to raise resilience and to adapt school life. Finally, we discussed the limitations of the study and its future direction.
