컴퓨팅 사고력 관점에서 교양 컴퓨팅 수업의 효과성 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학에서의 컴퓨팅사고력(Computational Thinking) 함양을 위한 교양컴퓨팅 수업이 컴퓨팅 사고력 관점에서 신입생의 컴퓨팅 사고력을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는지를 살펴보는 것을 목표로 하였다. 효과성 분석을 위하여 AP CSP의 평가 준거(13개)와 대상 수업의 교육 과정을 고려한 준거(8개)를 사용하여 컴퓨팅사고력 관점의 역량 측정을 위한 문항을 구성하고, 요인분석을 통하여 5개의 요인으로 범주화한 19개 문항을 확정한 후, 교양 컴퓨팅 수업을 수강한 104명에게 사전/사후 설문을 실시하여 수업 이후 컴퓨팅사고력 관점의 요소들이 수업 전 보다 유의미하게 향상되었는지 살펴보았다. 평가 결과 교양 컴퓨팅 수업 이후 수강생의 컴퓨팅 사고력 관점의 역량 평가에서 신뢰도 계수가 기준치보다 낮게 평가된 1개 요인을 제외하고 4개 요소에 대하여 통계적 유의수준 하에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 조사 대학의 교양 컴퓨팅 수업이 수강생의 컴퓨팅 사고력 관점의 구성 요소별 역량을 향상시키는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to measure whether the computing class in the liberal courses in university is effective for enhancing freshman s computational thinking capacity in terms of computational thinking. For analysis, I constructed a questionnaire for measuring the capacity of the point of computational thinking using the AP CSP evaluation criteria (13 items) and the criteria considering the curriculum of the target class (8 items). Through factor analysis, 19 items categorized into 5 factors were set.. The questionnaire is constructed to measure competency in terms of computing thinking and conducted a survey for 104 students who took computing classes. I examined whether the elements of the viewpoint of computational thinking were significantly improved after taking the class. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the four factors in the statistical significance level, except for one factor that the reliability coefficient was lower than the standard value. In other words, it has been shown that the computing class in the liberal courses has the effect of improving the capacity of element of the students viewpoint of computational thinking.
