대학캠퍼스의 시각과 청각 경관에 대한 의미구조와 심리적 속성 비교연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 대학캠퍼스에서 생활하는 학생들의 감성·기억·체험을 통해서 습득된 캠퍼스의 시각과 청각의 경관 평가를 위한 의미구조를 파악하고 그 속성에 대한 인식차를 비교 분석하는것이다. 자연, 역사와 전통, 규모와 배치 등이 서로 다른 호남의 3개 대학을 조사대상지로 선정하고, 대학캠퍼스의 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 대학캠퍼스의 시각 경관에 대한 인상 요인은 매력성(attraction), 번화함(bustling), 정갈함(tidiness), 정취(flavor), 활력성(vitality), 균형감(balance), 개성(character), 개방감(openness) 등의 8가지 요인, 그리고 청각 경관에 대한 인상 요인은 활기(vigor), 정취(flavor), 리듬(rhythm), 번화(bustling), 평온(calm), 규칙성(regularity) 등의 6가지 요인이 관여한다. 이들요인에 대해서 대학캠퍼스 마다 인식차와 시각과 청각 경관의 만족도에 미치는 상대적 중요도와평가의 위치를 확인할 수 있었다. 시각 경관의 만족도에 미치는 요인들에 대한 상대적 중요도는활력성>매력성>개성>개방감>정갈함>정취>균형감>번화함이며, 청각 경관의 만족도에 미치는 요인들에 대한 상대적 중요도는 리듬>규칙성>활기>정취>평온>번화의 순으로 구성된다. 또, 개별대학캠퍼스의 시각과 청각 경관의 인상 요인에 대한 상대적인 중요도도 확인할 수 있었다

영문 초록

This study aimed to understand the semantic structure for evaluating the landscape and soundscape of a university campus, acquired through the emotions, memories, and experiences of students living on university campuses and to compare and analyze the differences in the perception of the attributes. Three universities in Honam, which differ in nature, history and tradition, and size and layout, were selected as the survey sites, and the survey included students living on campus at these universities. The eight impression factors considered for the university campus’s landscape were attraction, bustling, tidiness, flavor, vitality, balance, character, and openness, and the six factors considered for soundscape were vigor, flavor, rhythm, bustling, calm, and regularity. From these factors, it was possible to confirm the difference of perception and both relative importance and position evaluation affecting satisfaction with the landscape and soundscape at each university campus. The relative importance of the factors affecting satisfaction with the landscape was in the following order: vitality, attraction, character, openness, tidiness, flavor, balance and bustling, and the relative importance of the factors affecting satisfaction with the soundscape in the following order: rhythm, regularity, vigor, flavor, calm, bustling. In addition, the relative importance of the impression factors for both the landscape and the soundscape at each university campus was also confirmed.
