국문 초록

우리 민족은 전통적으로 효 사상이 깊이 깃들어 있다. 하지만 오늘날 물질 만능주의와 개인주의로 인하여 가정의 기능 약화, 인간 소외 등 여러 문제가 야기되고 있다. 이에 오늘날 전통적인개념과 새로운 문화의 충돌 속에서 효 문화에 대한 패러다임의 전환이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저 효를 상호 관계의 효, 부모 중심의 효, 세대전수를 통한 사회문화로서의효로 개념화하였다. 또한 이러한 현대적인 효의 개념을 전제로 시대의 요구에 맞는 효 문화 증진을 위한 방안을 모색하기 위해 ‘관계’에 대한 중요 이론인 대상관계 이론을 고찰하였다. 대상관계의 주요 개념과 특성을 이해함으로써 인간의 건강한 발달과 적응에 있어서 ‘관계’의 중요성을고찰하고 좋은 대상으로서의 부모의 영향력을 살펴보았다. 이러한 이론적 고찰을 통해 현대 사회에 필요한 효 문화 확산 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째는 부모정체성의 회복이다. 무엇보다 가장 좋은 부모는 좋은 역할을 하는 부모에 앞서 부모 자신이 건강한 부모이다. 이를 위해 부모 자신의 내적 회복을 통한 자기 수용과 자기이해가 필요하다. 두번째로는 효 문화 확산을 위한 정서적 부모역할에 대해 살펴보았다. 무엇보다 부모 자녀간의 분리개별화는 현대적 효의 관점에서 부모가 가져야 할 근원적 목표이다. 그런 의미에서 분리 개별화를위한 부모 역할로 안아주기와 담아내기를 제안하였다. 부모자녀 관계에서의 부모의 안아주기, 담아내기 역할은 정서적, 순환적 관계성을 지속하게 되어 세대의 전수로 효 문화가 전승되리라기대한다.

영문 초록

Korean people traditionally have a deep HYO, Today, however, materialism and individualism are causing various problems, such as weakening of the function of the family and alienation of humans. Accordingly, a paradigm shift for HYO is required in the conflict between traditional concepts and new cultures. Therefore, this study first conceptualized HYO as mutual relations, parent-centered HYO, and HYO as a social culture through generational transmission. In addition, on the premise of this modern concept of HYO, to find a way to promote HYO culture that meets the demands of the times, the theory of object relations, an important theory about relations, was examined. Based on the main concepts and characteristics of object relations, this study examined the importance of ‘relationships’ in healthy development and adaptation of humans, and the influence of parents as good objects. Through these theoretical considerations, a plan to spread HYO culture necessary for the modern society was suggested. The first aspect is the restoration of parental identity. Above all, the best parents are parents who are healthy before parents who play a good role. For this, parents need self-acceptance and self-understanding through their own internal recovery. Second aspect is the emotional parental role parental role of spreading filial piety. Above all, separation and individualization between parents and children is a fundamental goal that parents should have from the perspective of modern HYO. In that sense, it was suggested ‘holding’ and ‘containing’ as a parent for separation and individualization. It is expected that the HYO culture will be passed down through generations by continuing the emotional and cyclical relationship between parents and their children.
