텍스트마이닝과 언어네트워크 분석을 활용한 수능 문항 분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 1994학년도부터 2020학년도까지 출제된 수능 국어 영역의 작문 문항을 대상으로 하여, 텍스트마이닝과 언어네트워크 분석을 통해 작문 문항의 특성 및 경향을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석은 전체 시기뿐 아니라 언어 영역이 국어 영역으로 변화한 2014년을 기준으로 이전과이후로 구분하여 시기별 핵심어를 추출하고 네트워크 분석을 통해 연결 관계에 차이가 있는지를확인하였다. 텍스트마이닝의 핵심어 빈도 분석 결과 언어 영역에서 국어 영역으로 전환되면서‘학생’, ‘작문’, ‘독자’와 같은 핵심어들이 강조되었다. 언어네트워크 분석 결과 언어 영역 시기에는 ‘제목’, ‘주제’, ‘수정’ 등이, 국어 영역 시기에는 ‘독자’, ‘수정’, ‘예상’ 등을 비롯하여 ‘과제’, ‘글쓰기’ 등 핵심어의 중심성 수치가 높았다. 분석 결과 수능 작문 문항은 쓰기 맥락과 글쓰기의실제가 강화되는 방향으로 변화해 왔으며, 국어 영역 시기로 오면서 이전에 비해 정형화된 형태를나타내고 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교육 환경의 변화에 대응하면서 쓰기 능력을 타당하게 평가할 수 있는 문항 출제 방안에 대한 연구가 필요함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze the characteristics and trends of the Korean-language writing items in the CSAT between 1994 and 2020. The analysis was conducted via text mining and semantic network analysis. The analysis was conducted by dividing the sample space into a “before” and “after” designation - this not only applied to the entire period, but 2014 as well (when ‘Language’ changed to the ‘Korean language’). Key words for each period were extracted, and language network analysis was conducted in order to determine whether there were any differences in their connections. The results of the analysis indicate that the writing items have changed via a strengthening of the writing context and of practical writing. In addition, it was confirmed that the form was ‘fixed’ when compared to when it became orientated as ‘Korean language’ instead. Based on these findings, it has been suggested that a study on designing exam questions that can adequately evaluate writing ability while responding to changes in the educational environment is needed.
