소셜 리딩(Social reading)을 적용한 시교육 효과 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 일반인들의 능동적인 유튜브채널 시청을 통한 시의 교육적 효과를 확인하기 위해‘팟캐스트(Podcast) <현지시밤(HyeonjiSibam)>’ 운영 이후 설문조사를 사용하여 문학의 확장가능성을 제고하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이에 디지털 다매체 환경을 적극적으로 활용하는 방식을 설계하고, 시 텍스트를 소셜 리딩 팟캐스트로 제작, 배포하는 과정을 정리함으로써 대중문학 콘텐츠로써의 완성도를 높이고자 했다. 본 연구에서 사례로 든 팟캐스트 콘텐츠 <현지시밤(HyeonjiSibam)>은 시흥시 예술인 지원 사업의 일환으로, 시를 중심으로한 전문 시문학 콘텐츠로 제작되었고 2018년 3월부터 12월까지 총6회가 유튜브(YouTube)에 업로드되었다. 각각의 콘텐츠에는 교양 및 정보 제공, 기성 시인 시편소개, 구독자 사연 및 시편 소개, 시 창작법 소개, 시집 소개 등 시 관련 콘텐츠들로 구성되었다. 이를 위해 먼저 지금까지 진행되어왔던 관련 선행연구들을 검토했고, 현재 진행 중인 소셜리딩에 한정한 문학 팟캐스트의 현황을 정리, 분석했다. 이를 토대로 팟캐스트 콘텐츠 <현지시밤> 의 구성·제작을 하였고, 설계 및 분석 과정에서 시문학의 대중화 가능성을 모색했다. 소셜 리딩을활용한 시교육 프로그램을 통해 시에 대한 이해도가 향상되고, 더 나아가 시를 이해하는 과정에서보다 능동적인 행동으로 이어지는 것을 확인했다. 또한, 시 감상의 능력 향상과 감수성의 세련화및 상상력의 확대를 통한 내면화에 도달하였음을 확인할 수 있다. 이를 통해 시의 영역적 확대와 더불어 궁극적으로는 시문학의 대중화를 확립시키는 교두보가될 것으로 기대할 수 있다

영문 초록

This study aims to consider ways of expanding literature experience based on the results of a survey on the podcast HyeonjiSibam and to confirm the educational effect of poetry via YouTube as a platform. Thus, this study intends to enhance online popular literature contents by designing means via digital multimedia platforms, producing social reading podcasts, and arranging the distribution process. For this study, the podcast HyeonjiSibam was produced as a project of Siheung-si, a company that supports the arts, to provide professional discussions of poetry. A total of six episodes of HyeonjiSibam were uploaded on YouTube from March to December 2018. The content of each episode is refined and informative, introducing poems of established poets, presenting subscribers’ stories and poems, explaining how poems are created, and introducing and promoting books of poetry. To this end, we reviewed previous research, analyzed the literary podcast’s ongoing social reading. Based on this, we composed· and produced the content for HyeonjiSibam and explored the possibility of poetry being popularized in the process of designing and analyzing. Through social reading in the poem education program, poetry reading comprehension was enhanced. Moreover, the results confirmed that poem appreciation enables internalization and refines one’s sensibilities. Through this, social reading can be expected to become cornerstone of poem’s range extension and ultimately establishing popularization of poem literal.
