층간소음 피해경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 공동주택에 거주하는 피해자를 대상으로 층간소음 피해경험에 관하여 분석하였다. 연구참여자는 층간소음에 노출된 당사자인 피해경험을 가진 거주민 9명을 대상으로 이웃관계경험을 심층적으로 면담하였다. 층간소음문제 해소를 위해 공동주택 거주민이 경험한 주관적인경험을 있는 그대로 Giorgi 현상학적 연구방법을 채택하여 생생한 경험을 기술하였다. 수집된원 자료는 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학의 4단계(stage) 방법을 통해 정확한 기술(description)을 보여줄 수 있도록 분석하였다. 분석결과, 공동주택 거주민들이 층간소음문제를 해소하기 위해 경험한 이웃관계의 본질적 주제는 7개로 도출되었다. 그 본질적 주제는 1) 공동주택 보다 우선하는나의 집 2) 일상생활을 방해하는 소음 3) 공동주택에서 사는 어려움 4) 일촉즉발의 마음이 생겨남5) 층간소음을 수용하게 됨 6) 층간소음 해소를 위한 각자의 노력 7) 층간소음 해소를 위한 이웃관계 경험으로 나타났다. 결론에서는 층간소음문제 해소를 위한 정책적 실천적 함의를 다루었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed damage experiences by inter-floor noise to the residents living in apartment houses. Research participants were nine who had been exposed to inter-floor noise and asked about neighbor relations through in-depth interviews. In order to resolve the floor impact noise problem, the subjective experiences of the residents were described through Giorgi phenomenological research method. The data collected were analyzed for accurate description following the four-stage method of Giorgi’s phenomenology. Seven essential themes of neighbor relations experienced by apartment residents emerge to resolve the inter-floor noise problem: 1) My house, which takes precedence over apartment houses; 2) Noise that interferes with daily life; 3) Difficulty living in apartment houses; 4) Immediately developing a mind; 5) Accepting inter-floor noise; 6) Efforts of each person to eliminate inter-floor noise; and 7) Experience regarding relations with neighbors in reducing noise between floors. Finally, this paper advances policy measures and practical implications for resolving the problem of inter-floor noise.
