대학 신입생의 특성과 대학생활적응 간의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학신입생의 일반적 특성들에 따른 대학생활적응 정도를 파악하고 그 결과에 따라 대학생활적응에 차이를 보이는 특성들을 확인하여 성공적인 대학생활을 위한 전략을 모색하고 적절한 개입 프로그램을 개발하는데 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2020학년도 D대학 지방캠퍼스 신입생 1,319명의 자료를 수집하여 최종적으로 1,317명의 자료를 분석하였으며 신입대학생의 특성에 따른 대학생활적응 수준에 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 성별, 입학유형별, 장래희망, 취미 및 특기, 학기 중 이루고 싶은 목표, 미래진로를 위한 준비사항, 학업중단의사로 구분하여 독립 표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 장래희망을 가지고 있는 경우, 취미 및 특기 등 여가생활을 하고 있는 경우, 이번 학기 달성하고자하는 성취목표가 있는 경우, 진로성취를 위한 준비를 하고 있는 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 대학생활적응 점수가 유의하게 높은 것을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of adaptation to college life according to the general characteristics of college freshmen, to identify the characteristics that show differences in college life adaptation based on the results, and to find strategies for successful college life adaptation and develop appropriate intervention programs. The study intends to present basic data that can be used. We collected data from 1,319 freshmen on the local campus of University D in 2020, and finally analyzed the data of 1,317 respondents. To find out whether there is a difference in the level of adaptation to college life according to the characteristics of new college students, the data were divided into gender, admission type, future hopes, hobbies and specialties, goals that you want to achieve during the semester, preparation for future careers, and willingness to stop studying. An independent samples t-test was conducted. The findings of this study suggest that if you have hope for the future, if you are involved in leisure activities such as hobbies and specialties, if you have an achievement goal set for the semester, if you are preparing for career achievement, your college life adaptation score is higher than if you do not possess these characteristics.
