유아의 우울에 영향을 미치는 어머니 관련 변인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 우울에 영향을 미치는 어머니 관련변인을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 관련변인으로는 어머니 연령, 교육정도, 평균수입 및 양육스트레스로 구성되었고, 자료수집을 위해 경기도 소재의 유치원 만 5세 125명 유아와 어머니를 대상으로 2019년 2월부터 4월까지 3달간 실시하였다. 어머니 양육스트레스 검사, PFC 검사 설문을 통해 연구결과를 수집하였으며, 결과 자료는 연구문제 1을 검증하기 위해 어머니의 연령, 양육스트레스에 따른 유아의 우울 관계는 F검증과 Pearson의 적률상관계수를, 연구문제 2,를 검증하기 위해 유아의 우울과 어머니의 연령, 교육정도, 양육스트레스의 상대적 영향력을 위해 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 연령, 교육정도 및 가정수입에 따른 차이는 어머니의 연령만 의미 있는 차이를 나타냈다. 즉, 30대, 40대 20대 순으로 유아 우울이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 양육스트레스에 따른 유아 우울은 3가지 양육스트레스(부모의 고통정도, 부모의 역기능적 상호작용 정도, 유아 기질정도)에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 즉, 각각의 양육스트레스가 높은 상 집단의 유아 우울이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 우울에 대한 어머니의 연령, 교육정도 및 양육스트레스의 상대적 영향력을 검증한 결과 양육스트레스 관련 유아의 기질정도가 전체변량의 34.8%를 설명하는 유의미한 예측변인으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아의 기질정도에 따른 어머니의 양육스트레스가 높을수록 유아의 우울이 증가됨을 시사한다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아 우울을 감소시키기 위한 유아 기질정도 관련한 어머니의 양육스트레스를 줄이는 방향에 대한 교육적 모색과 그에 따른 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose pf this study is to analyze the effect of maternal variables of the preschool children’s depression. Such variables as the mother’s age, education level and maternal parenting stress have been chosen for the analysis. The sample subject were 101 children and mothers, who were 5-year-olds, at A, H and C kindergarten in Gyeonggido. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were significant positive correlations between parenting stress of mothers and mother’s age. However there is no relationship between parenting stress and mother’s education level, home income. Secondly, children’s depression according to parenting stress showed significant difference in all three parenting stresses(parental pain, parental dysfunctional interaction, children temperament). children’s depression was higher in the groups with higher parenting stress. Thirdly, as a result of examining the relative influence of mothers age, education, and parenting stress on depression of children, temperament of parenting stress-related infants was a significant predictor explaining 34.8% of the total variance. These results suggest that the children’s temperament which is subordinate factor of mother s parenting stress forecast the children’s depression. In addition, the study will provide an educational search for directions to reduce maternal parenting stress related to children’s temperament and to provide basic data for reducing children’s depression.
