실생활 문제해결에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 개인별 응답과 모둠 연구 사례 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습지 중심의 문제풀이에 익숙해 있던 초등학교 예비교사들에게 융합형 실생활 문제해결(팔각정의 바닥 넓이 구하기) 방법을 초등학생들의 답안과 비교 분석하고, 그 과제의 확장 가능성을 모둠별로 공동 연구하면서 드러난 수학적 사고 분석을 통해 예비 초등교사 교육에 주는 시사점 도출을 목적으로 한다. 선행연구들은 등적 변형의 넓이 구하기 활동에서 초등학생들에게서는 분할의 방법이 가장 많이 나타난다고 하였으나 본 연구에 참가한 초등 예비교사들은 유효한 응답의 평균 개수가 초등학생들에 비해 월등히 많은 것은 아니어도 분할 이외에 변형 제거, 분해합동, 보충합동의 다양한 응답을 보여주었다. 또한 초등 예비교사 모둠은 자율적으로 실생활 속 육각정의 상황으로 확대하면서 다양한 내용적 사고와 방법적 사고를 사용하였다. 그들은 보다 수학적으로 사고하려는 태도와 본인들의 사고를 반성해보려는 실천 의지를 바탕으로 연구자가 설정한 발전적인 학습 목표를 성취하였다. 이상의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 초등 예비교사 교육에서 수학적 사고 교육의 실제적 가능성을 확인하고 이로부터 초등 예비교사 교육에 주는 세 가지 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study comparatively analyzed how to find the floor area of the octagonal pavilion, which is commonly seen around life, for elementary school pre-service teachers who were used to solving problems centered on workbooks. The purpose of this study is to derive implications for elementary school pre-service education through thinking analysis and case study. In previous studies, the method of division was the most common among elementary school students in the activity of finding the extent of equivalent deformation, but the elementary school pre-service teachers who participated in this study did not have much more answers than the elementary school students, but also removed or decomposed transformation other than division. Various responses of joint and supplementary joints were shown. In addition, a group of elementary pre-service teachers voluntarily expanded to the situation of hexagonal pavilion in real life and used a variety of content and methodical thinking. Based on their attitude toward thinking more mathematically and their willingness to reflect on their thoughts, they achieved the developmental learning goals set by the instructor.. Based on the above analysis results, the practical possibility of mathematical thinking education in elementary teacher education was identified, and three implications for elementary pre-service teachers education were derived.
