이공계 신입생의 자기효능감, 비판적 사고 성향, 의사소통능력과 창의적 인재 역량의 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 이공계 신입생에게 적합한 교육경험을 제공하기 위한 출발점으로서 이공계 신입생들의 자기효능감, 비판적 사고 성향, 의사소통능력과 창의적 인재 역량의 구조적 관계를 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 2019년 10월 14일부터 2019년 10월 15일까지 인천광역시에 위치한 4년제 I 대학의 신입생 중 기초필수교과목을 수강하고 있는 이공계 신입생 가운데 설문에 자발적으로 참여한 290명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이공계 신입생의 자기효능감, 비판적 사고 성향, 의사소통능력과 창의적 인재 역량의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 자기효능감과 비판적 사고 성향, 자기효능감과 의사소통능력이 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감, 비판적 사고 성향, 의사소통능력 모두 창의적 인재 역량과 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이공계 신입생의 자기효능감, 비판적 사고 성향, 의사소통능력과 창의적 인재 역량의 구조적 관계를 살펴본 결과 비판적 사고 성향과 의사소통능력은 창의적 인재 역량에 직접 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감은 창의적 인재 역량에 간접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 자기효능감을 기반으로 비판적 사고 성향과 의사소통능력이 동반되어야 창의적 인재 역량을 강화할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship of the self-efficiency, critical thinking disposition, communication skills and creative leader competency of freshmen in natural science and engineering as a starting point to provide appropriate educational experience for them. To this end, 290 students, who voluntarily participated in the survey, among freshmen in natural science and engineering taking mandatory basic courses of freshmen at the four-year I university located in Incheon were surveyed from October 14 to 15, 2019, and the results were as follows. First, the results of the relational analysis among self-efficiency, critical thinking disposition, communication skills and creative leader competency of freshmen showed positive relations between self-efficiency and critical thinking disposition, and between self-efficiency and communication skills. And self-efficiency, critical thinking disposition, and communication skills showed all also positive relation with creative leader competency. Second, the results of the relational analysis among self-efficiency, critical thinking disposition, communication skills and creative leader competency of freshmen through structural equation model(SEM) showed that critical thinking disposition and communication skills have direct effects on creative leader competency while self-efficiency has indirect effects on creative leader competency. In conclusion, it showed that, based on self-efficiency, critical thinking disposition and communication skills must be accompanied to strengthen creative leader competency.
