이호우 문학의 지역성 및 문학콘텐츠로의 가능성 검토

국문 초록

본고는 중앙문화와 지역문화의 간극을 좁히기 위한 한 방안으로, 문학을 활용한 문화콘텐츠 개발에 주목하고자 하였다. 문학 혹은 문인을 문화콘텐츠화 하고자 하는 시도는 그간 지속적으로 있어왔지만 인물 선정, 자료 발굴 및 아카이브, 개발 후 지속적 관리 등의 각 단계에서 철저하고 세밀한 검토 및 연구가 이루어지지 않아 개발 후 폐허로 사멸하는 콘텐츠가 생겨나고 있다는 점에 문제를 제기하고, 그 예로 대구·경북 지역의 현대시조 시인인 이호우를 제시한다. 이호우는 경북 청도군에서 출생하여 청년기에 대구로 이사한 후 1970년 타계할 때까지 대구 언론, 문학, 예술계에서 족적을 남긴 로컬 인물이다. 가람 이병기의 추천으로 등단한 후 현대시조의 형식과 정신을 계승하고자 노력했으며, 누이동생인 이영도 시인과 오누이 시조 시인으로 유명하다. 그의 생을 기리기 위해 청도군에서는 이호우·이영도 생가와 오누이 시조 공원을 조성하였지만 수년째 방치되어 잡초만 무성한 공간이 되었다. 본고에서는 이호우 시조시인의 문학적 위상과 로컬 인물로서의 위상을 제시한 후, 이호우 문학의 지역성을 검토해본다. 이후 문화 산업적 발전을 도모하기 위해서 대구와 이호우의 접점을 찾고, 그 접점을 바탕으로 문화콘텐츠로의 발전 가능성을 검토해보며, 대구 근대 문화콘텐츠들과의 연계, 청도군의 이호우 생가의 현대시조 전용 공간화를 제안한다.

영문 초록

This paper intends to focus on the development of cultural content using literature as a means of bridging the gap between central and local culture. Although there have been continuous attempts to commercialize literature or literary culture, and suggests Lee Ho-Woo, a modern poet from Daegu and Gyeongbuk, content due to failure to perform a thorough review and research at each stage of character selection, data discovery and archiving, and continuous post-development management raises a question about Korea s emergence. Lee Ho-woo was born in Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongbuk. Having moved to Daegu in his youth, he made his mark on Daegu media and literature until his death in 1970. After joining Garam Lee Byung-ki, he endeavored to adopt the form and spirit of modern Sijo. His younger sister, Lee Young-do, became famous both as a poet and as a famous poet s sibling. In honor of Lee Ho-Woo s life, Cheongdo-gun commemorated his and Lee Young-do s birthplace as well as their siblings relationship in Sijo Park; but the park was left untended for many years, and it eventually became nothing more than a lush space. This paper will present Lee s literary and local Sijo poet character statuses and examine his locality. Furthermore, in order to promote the development of the cultural industry, we will identify the contact point between Daegu and Lee Ho-woo, examine the possibility of developing cultural contents based on that contact point, establish a link to Daegu s modern cultural content, and make space for suggestions for the first generation of Lee Ho-woo of Cheongdo-gun.
