초등학교 고학년 학생들의 지식정보처리 역량 실태 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정에서 도입한 지식정보처리 역량의 하위 요인을 설정하고, 조사 문항을 개발하여 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 역량 실태를 알아보고자 하였다. 역량의 하위 요인 설정을 위한 문헌 연구, 조사 문항 개발을 위한 델파이, 실태 조사를 위한 빈도 분석과 독립성 검정을 수행하였다. 문헌 연구의 결과로 지식정보 처리 역량을 정보를 다루는 기술·기능만이 아닌, 문제 해결을 위한 총체적인 능력으로 정의하였고, 이러한 관점으로 역량의 하위 영역과 하위 요소를 설정, 조사 문항을 개발하였으며, 개발한 문항은 델파이를 통해 내적 타당도를 확보하였다. 역량의 실태 조사 결과, 전반적으로 높은 역량을 갖춘 것으로 나타났으나 정보 윤리 영역은 취약하였다. 성별 격차는 없었으나, 지역 가운데 대도시와 중소도시 간 격차가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 연구를 통해 첫째, 기술의 발전에 걸맞는 정보 윤리 교육이 요구되고, 둘째, 인쇄 매체를 포함한 다양한 매체 활용 능력을 길러줄 필요가 있으며, 셋째, 역량의 지역 간 격차에 대한 추가 연구가 필요하고, 넷째, 역량의 실제적 함양을 위해서는 역량이 교과별 성취기준에 충실히 반영될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study set up the sub-factors of knowledge information processing capability introduced in the 2015 revised curriculum and developed the survey questions to investigate the actual state of competence of elementary school upper graders. The literature research for setting the sub-factors of competence, Delphi for developing the survey questions, frequency analysis and independence test for actual condition survey were conducted. As a result of literature research, knowledge information processing capability was defined not only as technology and function of information handling but also as a total ability for problem solving. In this perspective, the survey items were developed and the developed items were secured internal validity through Delphi. As a result of the survey on the actual condition of competence, competence was high in the whole except for the information ethics area, and the gap between large and small cities was statistically significant. Through this study, first, information ethics education is required to be suitable for the development of technology, second, it is necessary to develop various media utilization abilities including print media, third, additional research on the gap between regions of competence is necessary, and fourth, it is necessary to faithfully reflect competence in the achievement standards of each subject in order to cultivate the competence.
