국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중등교원양성기관의 교육실습 과정 중 학교현장실습의 운영 현황을 교원자격 실무 편람을 중심으로 분석하고 그로부터 앞으로의 학교현장실습에 대한 개선 방안을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 연구자들은 전국의 중등교원양성기관 중 권역별 14개 기관을 선정하여 학교현장실습 운영 현황 관련 자료를 수집하여 문헌 분석하고 추가적으로 실무자 전화 조사를 통해 확인하는 작업을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 중등교원양성기관들의 학교현장실습 운영에서 실습의 유형, 실습 내용, 실습 시기, 실습대상학교 선정 및 배정 등에서 각 기관별로 다양한 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과에 따라 연구자들은 첫째, 학교현장실습에 대한 명확한 개념화와 이를 바탕으로 하는 실습 유형의 체계화가 필요하다는 점, 둘째, 학교현장실습의 실습 기간이나 단계를 좀 더 내실 있게 확대 조정해야 할 필요가 있으며 실습 시수나 이수 학점을 대폭 상향 조정해야 할 필요가 있다는 점, 셋째, 대상학교 선정 및 배정 문제에 있어서 교육청-대학-실습학교 간의 긴밀한 협력이 필요하며 이를 위한 실제적이고 구체적인 시스템을 마련할 필요가 있다는 점 등을 개선 방안으로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation status of the school field practicum during the teaching practicum of the secondary teacher education institute and to search for the improvement plan for future field practicum. For this purpose, the researchers selected 14 institutions from among the nationwide secondary teacher training institutes, collected data related to the actual situation of the school field practicum, analyzed literature and interviewed related persons. As a result of the study, it was found that there are various differences in the types of the practicum, the content of the practicum, the timing of the practicum, and the selection and assignment of the schools to be practiced in the school field practicum of the secondary teacher training institutes. According to the results of this study, the researchers firstly need to clarify notion of the practicum and systematize the practicum type on the basis of systematized notion. Secondly, it is necessary to expand and extend the practicum period or steps of the school field practicum. Thirdly, in order to select the schools and allocate the pre-service teachers into the schools, close cooperation between the POE(Provincial of Education)-university-training schools is needed, and a practical and concrete system is needed to improve them.
