문학공간 답사를 통한 한국어 학습자의 문화교육 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 문학공간 답사를 통해 한국어 학습자들의 문화교육을 도모하기 위한 방안을 제언하는 데에 있다. 한국어 학습자들이 문학공간과 문학 작품의 내용을 연계한다면 공간과 텍스트를 더불어 이해할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 한국의 문화 및 한국인의 정서까지 체험하는 것이 가능하다. 즉 문학공간 답사를 통해 단순한 체험 위주의 현장견학보다 한 차원 더 심화된 수준의 교육을 도모할 수 있다. 또한 가상적인 문학 체험을 현실적 공간을 통해 실체화한다는 점에서 문학공간 답사는 문학을 생활화·구체화하는 구체적 실천방안이 될 수 있다. 이에 본고는 문학공간 답사를 실행하기 위한 교수·학습 모형을 제안하였다. 1단계는 ‘문학 작품의 이해 단계’로 단원 목표를 제시하고, 문학 작품의 감상 및 이해하는 활동으로 구성한다. 2단계는 ‘문학공간 추출 및 조사·계획 단계’로 문학 작품에서 문학공간을 추출한 후 조사하고, 문학공간에 대한 답사 일정 및 활동을 계획하는 활동으로 구성한다. 3단계는 ‘문학공간의 답사 단계’로 문학공간을 실제로 답사하며 문학 작품과 견주어 보고, 문학공간에서 목표사회의 문화를 발견하는 활동으로 구성한다. 4단계는 ‘비평 및 토론을 통한 정리 단계’로 다음의 활동 중에서 선별적으로 택하여 구성한다. 첫째는 문학공간에서 발견한 목표사회의 문화를 토론하는 활동, 둘째는 문학공간에서 느끼거나 발견한 것을 토대로 문학 작품에 대해 자유롭게 비평하는 활동, 셋째는 문학 작품을 토대로 둘러본 문학공간에 대한 기행문을 쓰는 활동, 넷째는 문학공간을 떠올리며 문학 작품에 대한 비평문을 쓰는 활동이다. 문학공간 답사를 통한 한국어 학습자의 문화교육은 한국어 교육뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 우선 작가와 문학 작품, 문학공간을 해외에 널리 알릴 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 문학 작품과 연계한 관광 콘텐츠를 개발한다면 해당 지역의 활성화까지 도모할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose plans to promote cultural education for Korean learners through explorations of literary spaces. If learners connect literary spaces with the content of literary works, they will be able to experience Korean culture and the sentiments of the Korean people as well as understand the spaces and texts together. In other words, explorations of literary spaces will open the door to an advanced level of education in a way that surpasses simple experiencebased field trips. Such explorations can also propose specific methods of practice to make literature a part of one s life and self in that they substantialize fictional literary experiences through realistic spaces. The present study thus proposes a teaching and learning model for explorations of literary spaces. Stage 1, understanding of literary works, introduces the goals of the unit and consists of activities to encourage appreciation and understanding of literary works. Stage 2, identification of literary spaces and surveying & planning, involves identifying and surveying spaces in literary works and planning exploration schedules and activities for these literary spaces. Stage 3, exploration of literary spaces, offers opportunities to actually explore literary spaces, compare them with the spaces in literary works, and discover the culture of the target society in the literary spaces. Stage 4, arrangement through criticism and discussion, provides the following options for activities: to discuss the culture of the target society discovered in the literary spaces, criticize literary works freely based on what one felt or discovered in the literary spaces, write a travel essay about spaces based on literary works, and write a critical essay about literary works, thinking of their spaces. Cultural education for Korean learners through explorations of literary spaces holds significance in a range of areas in addition to Korean education. It can create opportunities to globally promote Korean authors, literary works, and literary. In addition, it can lead to the development of tourism content connected with literary works for Korean learners, and thus promote the vitalization of concerned areas.
