교사의 긍정적 정서경험과 직무만족도와의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사의 긍정적 정서경험과 직무만족도의 관계에서 정서인식과 교사효능감의 이중매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울 및 경기지역의 서울, 경기 지역의 초등학교와 중학교, 고등학교에 재직중인 교사 746명을 연구대상으로 하여, 긍정적 정서경험 척도, 정서인식 척도, 교사효능감 척도, 직무만족도 척도를 사용하여 조사하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 측정 변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 기술 통계와 상관분석을 실시하였고, 본 연구의 연구모형에 대한 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시하고 적합도를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 주요 변인인 교사의 긍정적 정서경험, 정서인식, 교사효능감, 직무만족도 간에 각각 유의미 한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 긍정적 정서경험과 직무만족도 간의 관계에서 정서인식은 매개효과를 가지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 긍정적 정서경험과 직무만족도 간의 관계에서 교사효능감은 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교사의 긍정적 정서경험과 직무만족도 간의 관계에서 정서인식, 교사 효능감의 이중 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통하여 교사를 대상으로 하는 상담 및 교육과 같은 방법을 통해 교사의 직무만족도를 높일 수 있는 개입을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the double mediation effects emotion awareness and teacher efficacy between positive emotion experience and job satisfaction. For this purpose, surveys were conducted by 746 elementary, middle, and high school teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, using positive emotion experience scale, emotion awareness scale, teacher efficacy scale, and job satisfaction scale. Based on the collected data, descriptive statistic and correlation analysis were performed to determine the general trend of the measured variables. Also, structure equation model test about model of this study and goodness-of-fit test were performed. The results of this study are as follows. First, positive emotion experience, emotion awareness, teacher efficacy, and job satisfaction were found to have significant positive correlation. Second, emotion awareness had no mediation effects in the relationship between positive emotion experience and job satisfaction of teachers. Third, teacher efficacy had mediation effects in the relationship between positive emotion experience and job satisfaction of teachers. Fourth, emotion awareness and teacher efficacy had double mediation effects in the relationship between positive emotion experience and job satisfaction of teachers. This study is significant in terms of providing basic information for intervention to improve teachers’ job satisfaction through teachers’ counseling and training.
