국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 신입생을 대상으로 학업적 자기효능감이 진로결정수준과의 관계에서 진로장벽의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기지역 소재 2개 대학교의 신입생 292명(남학생: 132명, 여학생: 160명)으로 측정변수들 사이에 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 잠재변수 간의 관계를 검증하기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석하였다. 측정도구는 학업적 자기효능감 척도, 진로장벽 척도, 진로결정수준 척도를 사용하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신입생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로장벽, 진로장벽과 진로결정수준은 서로 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 나타났고, 신입생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로결정수준은 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 신입생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로결정수준과의 관계에서 진로장벽의 매개 효과를 알아보기 위해 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 설정하고 이를 검증한 결과 진로장벽이 학업적 자기효능감과 진로결정수준과의 관계에서 완전 매개하는 연구모형이 더 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 제한점, 추후연구에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to look into the effect of college freshmen’s career barriers mediates the process in which their academic self-efficacy affects their career decision level. The subjects of study were 292 college freshmen(132 male students and 160 female students) in Gyeonggi-do. They were assessed by academic self-efficacy scale, career barriers scale, career decision level scale. The data were analyzed through Structural Equating Model(SEM). The results of the study are as follows: First, there were significant negative correlations between academic self-efficacy and career barriers. And there were significant negative correlations between career barriers and career decision level. But there were significant positive correlations between academic self-efficacy and career decision level. Second, a research model and a competition model were set up and verified in order to inquire into the mediating effect of college freshmen’s career barriers in the relationship between their academic self-efficacy and career decision level, and as a result, the research model in which career barriers fully mediated the relationship between academic self-efficacy and career decision level was more appropriate. Finally, implications, limitations, future studies are discussed.
