IPA 기법을 이용한 장애아전문어린이집 교사들의 아동권리에 대한 인식도-실행도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 아동권리 실천을 위해 장애아전문어린이집 교사들이 현재 노력하고 있는 아동권리 영역 중 유지강화영역, 중점개선영역, 장기개선영역, 과잉노력영역에 대해 분석을 목적으로 하였으며 이를 통해 장애아전문어린이집 교사들의 아동권리 보장을 위한 실천전략을 모색하고 개선점을 찾기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 2015년 2월 10일부터 3월 20일까지 장애아전문어린이집 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 아동권리에 대한 인식도와 실행도를 동시에 분석할 수 있는 IPA 기법 을 사용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애아전문어린 이집 교사들의 아동권리에 대한 IPA를 분석결과, 유지강화 영역은 생명존중 및 보호받을 권리, 사생활을 보호 받을 권리, 모든 착취와 학대로부터 보호받을 권리, 잠재적 능력 개발을 위한 교육을 받을 권리, 자유로운 생각과 종교를 가질 권리, 중점개선 영역은 의 사표현의 자유를 가질 권리, 장기개선 영역은 최선의 이익을 우선적으로 받을 권리, 발달에 맞는 교재, 교구를 제공받을 권리, 과잉노력 영역은 차별받지 않을 권리인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애아전문어린이집 교사들의 아동권리에 대한 IPA 차이를 분석한 결과, 소지자격에 따른 교사들의 역할수행에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of teachers in specialized daycare centers for young children with disabilities about children s rights in an attempt to provide some information on how teachers in specialized daycare centers for preschoolers with disabilities could guarantee children s rights and what improvements should be made. It s specifically meant to investigate what area of children s rights should remain unchanged or strengthened, what area needed major improvements, what area needed long-term improvements and into what area excessive efforts were put. The IPA was utilized in this study, which made it possible to analyze their awareness and performance of children s rights at the same time. The findings of the study were as follows: First, when the IPA was made to analyze the awareness of the teachers about children s rights and their performance, they responded that a right to life respect and protection, a right to privacy, a right to be protected against every sort of exploitation and abuse, a right to be educated to develop potentials and a right to freedom and religion should all remain unchanged or strengthened. As for the area in need of major improvements, a right to freedom of expression was considered to need major improvements. Concerning the area in need of long-term improvements, a right to preferentially enjoy the best interests and a right to be provided with teaching materials and aids tailored to developmental levels were considered to need long-term improvements. As a result of analyzing in what area excessive efforts were put, a right not to be discriminated was considered to belong to this area. Second, whether there were any differences among the teachers in awareness and performance of children s rights was analyzed, and they were different from one another in role performance according to their certificates.
