국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 다문화청소년의 학업성취도가 진로결정성에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 종단적 매개효과를 검증함으로써 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 향상에 있어 사회적인 논의를 제시하고자 하였다. 방법 연구 문제를 검증하기 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 다문화청소년 패널조사 1기 데이터 7차(2017년)에서 9차(2019년)년도까지 총 3개년의 자료를 활용하였으며, 총 1,068명이었다. 종단적 매개효과 검증을 위해 자기회귀교차지연모형으로 변인간의 관계를 확인하였으며, 종단적 매개효과의 유의성은 소벨테스트와 부트스트랩핑으로 검증하였다. 결과 학업성취도, 진로결정성의 자기회귀효과가 유의미하여 개입을 통한 진로결정성 향상에 관심을 기울여야 함을 확인하였다. 또한, 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 향상에 사회적 지지의 제공자별로 다른 경로를 보임을 확인하였으며, 학업성취도와 진로결정성의 관계를 교사지지 및 또래지지가 종단적으로 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 향상에 사회적 지지의 제공자별로 다른 경로를 보임을 확인하였으며, 교사지지 및 또래지지가 특히 중요함을 검증하였다. 결론 본 연구는 다문화청소년의 진로결정성에 영향을 미치는 개인변인과 환경변인을 통합적으로 확인함으로써, 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 향상을 위한 사회적인 논의 및 대안을 제공하였다. 또한 다문화청소년의 진로결정성 향상에 있어서 교사지지 및 또래지지의 중요성을 검증하였으며, 이는 다문화청소년의 학업성취도 향상을 위한 도움과 더불어 교사지지 및 또래지지를 높일 수 있는 방안에 대한 모색이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study is verifying the longitudinal mediation effects of social support between academic achievement and career determination in multicultural adolescents. Through verification, this study presents the social discussion in improving the career determination of multicultural adolescents. Methods In this study, the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS) from the National Youth Policy Institute was used, and the subjects were 1,068 multicultural adolescents. The Autoregressive Cross-Lagged(ARCL) model was set for the verification of the longitudinal mediation effects. the significance of the longitudinal mediating effect was verified by the Sobel test and Bootstrapping. Results The self-regression effect of academic achievement and career determination was significant, so it was confirmed that attention should be paid to improving career determination by intervention. In addition, teacher support and peer support were found to completely mediate the relationship between academic achievement and career determination. Conclusions It provided social discussions and alternatives for improving career determination of multicultural adolescents by identifying individual variables and environmental variables. In particular, it suggests that teacher support and peer support play an important role in career determination of multicultural adolescents.
