국문 초록

<반포가>는 시집가는 딸에게 행실을 가르치는 계녀가류 규방가사이다. <반포가>에는 친정어머니가 시집가는 딸에게 여성이 지켜야할 행실 규범과 덕목을 전달하는 내용이 담겨있다. 화자인 친정어머니는 시집가는 딸과의 이별을 아쉬워하면서 결혼 후 안주인으로서의 역할을 강조하고 있다. 표기법과 내용을 살펴봤을 때, <반포가>는 갑오경장 이전에 지어진 것으로 추측된다. 아래아(ㆍ), 복자음, 복모음이 사용되었고, 내용 또한 유교적 성격이 강하다. 형식 또한 4 4조가 두드러지고 조어가 다듬어진 모습이 나타난다. 서사에서는 시집가는 딸과의 이별을 아쉬워하는 내용이 담겨있다. 시집가는 딸을 보내는 친정어머니의 마음과 여성의 역할을 잘 수행하기를 당부하고 있다. 본사에서는 안주인의 역할과 집안 내력을 설명하고 있다. 또한 선행과 악행으로 이름난 여인들을 열거하며 여성의 역할과 조심해야 할 것을 강조하고 있다. 결사에서는 삼종칠거의 행실규범을 구체적으로 제시하고 있다. 따라서 <반포가>를 통해 당대 봉건사회 안에서 여성에게 요구되는 바를 구체적 으로 살필 수 있다. 당시 여성은 남성 중심의 사회구조 아래 전통적 규범을 따라야만 했다. 자식을 잘 키우고, 남편을 잘 섬기는 일, 여성의 정절 등 봉건적 사상이 잘 나타난다. 결국 화자는 <반포가>를 통해 시집가는 딸에게 행실규범과 여성의 역할을 전달하고, 이를 잘 수행하여 가문의 체면과 명예를 유지하여 키워준 부모에게 효도하기를 바라는 마음을 나타내고 있다.

영문 초록

“Banpo ga” is a Gyenyeo ga type (prescriptive gasa) of Gyubang gasa that teaches pre-married daughters proper conduct. “Banpo ga” daughter in the form of the norms and virtues that women should observe. The speaker, the mother, is reluctant to separate from her unmarried daughter and emphasizes her role as a hostess after marriage. Looking at the notations and the contents, it could be assumed that “Banpo ga” was written before the Political Reform in 1894. Arae (below)_Ah ( ), consonant clusters, and diphthongs were used, and the contents are also characterized to be Confucian. The format also shows that 4 4 sets stand out, and there appears to be a trimmed word formation. In the introduction, there is content that shows regret at the separation from her unmarried daughter. This contains the thoughts of the mother, who is sending information to the unmarried daughter and requests that her daughter perform the role of a woman. The discussion explains the role of the hostess and the family history. It also enumerates women who are named for good and evil, and emphasizes the role of women and the need to be careful. In the conclusion, the behavior norms of “three obedience and seven divorce causes” are specified in detail. Thus, through “Banpo ga,” we can examine specifically what was required of women in the feudal society of the time. At that time, women had to follow traditional norms under a male centered social structure. Feudal ideologies such as raising children well, serving their husbands well, and the fidelity of women are evident. Eventually, the speaker communicates the role of women and their conduct to her unmarried daughter through “Banpo ga,” so that her daughter can learn well and keep the honor of the family, showing the desire that her daughter should practice filial piety to the parents who raised her.
