국문 초록

교과 논리 및 논술 강좌는 2009년부터 교육부에 의해서 교직 필수 강좌로 제시된 이래로 교직을 얻기 위한 주요 과목으로 제시되고 있다. 과학교과에서 논리 및 논술 즉, 글쓰기는 여타의 현장 교수학습 방법이나 연구 분야에 비해 주된 분야라고 보기 어려우며, 교수자도 관련 경험이 제한적이다. 동시에 이 강좌의 목적이나 주제 범주 등에 대한 논의도 드물어서 구체적인 정보를 얻기 어렵다. 본 연구는 비록 연구자의 하나의 사례 보고로 제한적이지만, 과학교과 논리 및 논술 강좌 운영 과정을 세밀히 드러내고자 한다. 글쓰기 강좌의 하나로서 통합이론을 바탕으로 과학교과 논리 및 논술 강좌가 고려해야 할 원리를 탐색하였으며, 그에 따라 진행한 여덟 단계의 교수학습 과정을 논의하였다. 또한 과학교과 논리 및 논술 강좌가 이 과목의 수강생에게 미친 영향을 파악하고자 수강생별로 글쓰기 수준의 변화 및 강좌에 대한 자유기술의 내용 분석을 제시하였다. 과학교과 논리 및 논술의 교수학습 과정 운영 및 수강생들의 요구 분석을 통하여 학생 주도적인 강좌 운영, 글쓰기 교정자가 아닌 촉진자로서 교수자의 역할, 그리고 다양한 정보원에 접근하고 의사소통을 촉진할 수 있는 온라인 환경의 조성과 같은 강좌 운영의 성공적인 요인을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

Lesson for the logic and writing education in science education have been a compulsory for pre service teacher programs in South Korea since they were presented as a requirement by the Ministry of Education in 2009. Scientific essay writing is not a major field in science education compared to other teaching strategies or academic science education research fields. At the same time, studies on both the purpose of lectures and the scope and features of the writing topics are limited, and it is difficult to obtain practical information as a course instructor. Although this study is limited to a case study developed by me, I intend to describe the management process of a one semester course in detail. By using writing integration theory, the essential features of the lesson were investigated, and the eight steps of teaching and learning curriculums were discussed. Also, changes in the participants’ writing level in six essays and their overall thoughts on the lecture were analyzed to understand the influence of the lecture on the participants’ learning and motivation. Using content analysis, it was demonstrated that three factors determined successful scientific logic and essay lecture: student led course management, the teacher’s role as a facilitator rather than as an essay corrector, and an open classroom environment for accessing online information easily and promoting the students’ discursive communication.
