플립드 러닝 수업을 통한 수학적 의사소통 역량 변화 분석: 중학교 2학년을 대상으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2016년 중학교 2학년을 대상으로 1학기 말의 4주 동안 플립드 러닝을 실시하여, 수학적 의사소통 역량의 변화를 살펴보았다. 의사소통 역량인 듣기, 읽기, 말하기, 쓰기에 관해 플립드 러닝을 실시하기 전후의 학생들의 변화를 살펴보았 다. 그 결과 말하기만 사전 검사에 비해 사후 검사에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상 되었음을 확인할 수 있었고, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기는 사전 검사에 비해 사후 검사에서 점수는 향상되었으나 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되지는 않았다. 이러한 결과를 얻게된 것은 연구 대상인 학생의 수가 너무 적었으며, 사전 검사와 사후 검사의 문항이 적었기 때문인 것으로 보인다. 듣기와 읽기는 10점 만점으로 사전-사후 점수 차가 크게 나지 않고, 쓰기는 사전-사후 점수 차가 컸으나 통계적으로 유의미하게 차이가 나지는 않았다. 이러한 결과가 플립드 러닝이 의사소통 역량을 향상시키는데 효과가 없다는 것을 나타내지는 않는다. 모든 점수가 상승하는 변화는 있었지만 통계적으로 유의미하게까지는 이끌어 내지 못한 것이다. 하지만, 학생들의 답안에서 쓰기 능력의 변화를 정성적으로 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이는 플립드 러닝의 효과를 말해주는 것이 라고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we analyzed the changes of students of mathematical communicative competence by conducting lessons for four weeks based on flipped learning with middle school second graders. In order to analyze the changes of students of mathematical communication competence, we examined quantitative and qualitative analysis with students’ competencies before and after the flipped learning in listening, reading, speaking and writing. As a result, we were able to confirm that only speaking has statistically significantly improved in post-test compared to pre-test. Although listening, reading, and writing improved in post-test compared to pre-test, we could not confirm statistically significant improvements. The results seem to have made no significant difference statistically because the number of students being studied was too few, and there were fewer questions about pre-to-post tests. Listening and reading were not a wide gap between pre-to-post scores, while writing had a large gap between pre-to-post scores on a ten-point scale, but did not make a significant difference statistically. These results do not indicate that flipped learning is ineffective in improving mathematical communicative competence. There have been changes in all scores that have been raised, but have not been statistically significant. However, We can confirm in the students answers that the qualitative aspect of communication leads to a positive change of writing capability. This can be seen as the effect of flipped learning on improving mathematical communication competence.
