간호대학생의 성태도, 성적자율성, 자아존중감이 생명의료윤리의식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 임상실습 전 간호대학생의 성태도, 성적자율성, 자아존중감이 생명의료 윤리의식에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구로, 2018년 10월 K시에 소재한 종합대학 간호학과 1∼2학년에 재학 중인 남녀학생 173명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test와 ANOVA, 상관관계는 Pearson s correlation coefficient로, 생명의료윤리의식과 변수간의 설명력은 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 연령, 학년, 생명의료윤리교육 참여경험에 따라 생명의료윤리의식은 차이가 있었고, 생명의료윤리의식은 성태도, 성적자율성, 자아존중감과 정적상관관계가 있었다. 또한 연령(β=.36, p<.001), 자아존중감(β=.34, p<.001), 성태도(β=.19, p<.01)는 생명의료윤리의식에 유의미한 영향을 주었고, 생명의료윤리의식을 42%설명하였다. 따라서 임상실습 전 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식을 향상시키기 위해서는 교과와 비교과교육과정에서 생명의료윤리의식과 관련한 다양한 교수법과 프로그램을 개발하여 학년별 단계를 설정하여 교육하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 성에 대한 개방적인 태도와 자아존중감을 향상시키기 위한 맟춤형 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This purpose of study was to identify variables predicting biomedical ethics awareness in nursing students before clinical practice. The participants were 174 male and female students attending 1st to 2nd year students of Universities located in k city. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires on sexual attitudes, sexual autonomy, self-esteem, and biomedical ethics awareness. Data analysis was done by using SPSS WIN 23.0 program for one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. This study showed a positive correlation between biomedical ethics awareness and sexual attitudes(r=.34, p<.001), sexual autonomy(r=.30, p<.001), self-esteem(r=.21 p<.01). The age(β=.36, p<.001), self-esteem(β=.34, p<.001), sexual attitudes(β=.19, p<.01) have a 42%(Adj R² .273) explanatory power for the biomedical ethics awareness in nursing students before clinical practice. Therefore, in order to improve the biomedical ethics awareness of nursing students before clinical practice, it is necessary to develop various program that teaching methods for improving open sexual attitudes and self - esteem related to the biomedical ethics in the curriculum.
