국문 초록

본 연구는 전문대학 교수학습지원체제의 상대적 효율성을 제고하는 전략을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전문대학 32개교의 교수 및 학생 데이터와 대학정보 공시 자료를 활용하여 대학별 교수학습지원체제의 상대적 효율치를 산출하고, 대학 특성별로 효율치의 차이를 검토하였다. 상대적 효율성 분석을 위해 자료포락분석 (DEA) 기법을 활용하였고, 산출지향관점을 기반으로 분석하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 32개 전문대학 중 1.00의 효율성을 달성한 대학은 규모수익불변 (CRS) 가정에서는 15개 대학(46.87%)으로, 규모수익가변(VRS) 가정에서는 21개 대학(65.62%)으로 나타났으나, 전반적으로 대학들 간 상대적 효율성은 큰 차이가 없는것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전문대학 교수학습지원체제의 비효율 원인과 관련하여 그 원인이 일부 대학들은 기술적 차원에서, 일부 대학들은 규모 차원에서 나타나 비효율의 원인이 대학마다 차이가 있을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 분석 결과는 향후 대학별로 교수학습지원체제의 효율성 제고를 위한 맞춤형 전략을 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 시사하는 바가 크다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies for improving the relative efficiency of college’s teaching and learning support system. To this end, the relative efficiency ratio of the teaching and learning support system was calculated using the professors and students data of 32 colleges and the information disclosure data, and the ratio differences in efficiency by college’s characteristics was reviewed. Data Development Analysis (DEA) techniques were used for the relative efficiency analysis, and they were analyzed based on production orientation. The results are as follows. First, 15 colleges (46.87%) that achieved 1.00 of the 32 colleges were found in the CRS assumption and 21 colleges (65.62%) were found in the VRS assumption, but overall the relative efficiency among colleges was not significantly different. Second, in relation to the inefficient cause of the teaching and learning support system for colleges, some colleges were found to be technically and some colleges were found on size, confirming that the causes of inefficiency vary from college to college. The results suggest that each college can provide customized strategies to enhance the efficiency of the system.
