초등교육 관련 학술지의 음악교육 게재동향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등교육 관련 학술지에 게재된 음악교육 관련 논문의 동향을 알아보고 앞으로의 연구 문제와 방향을 제언하는 것이다. 초등교육 과정은 심리적, 신체적으로 학생들이 큰 변화를 겪는 시기이며, 음악 교육적으로는 잠재력을 계발하 고 기초를 다지는 매우 중요한 시기이다. 따라서 초등음악교육은 학습의 주체자인 초등학생과 초등교육과정에 대한 충분한 이해를 바탕으로 한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 초등교육 관련 학회에서 그동안 음악교육과 관련된 연구가 어떻게 실행되 어 왔는지 알아보았다. 이를 위해서 2018년 10월 한국연구재단의 등재학술지 중에서 ‘초등’이라는 단어가 들어간 학술지를 조사하여 ‘한국초등교육’ 과 ‘초등교육연구’를 선정하고, 두 학술지에 2000년부터 2018년도 10월까지 게재된 음악교육 논문 34편 을 연구 년도, 연구 대상, 연구 방법, 연구 영역으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 초등교육 관련 학술지에 게재된 음악교육 관련 논문은 34편으로 그 수가 매우 적었으며, 연구 대상, 연구 방법, 연구 영역이 고루 분포되어 있지 않고 하나에 치 중되어 있는 경향을 보였다. 초등음악교육의 발전을 위해서 초등교육 관련 학회에서도 음악교육에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되기를 바라며, 연구대상의 범위를 넓혀 다른 교육관련 학술지에 게재된 음악교육 논문의 동향을 알아보는 후속 연구가 이루 어지기를 제언한다.

영문 초록

The elementary school period has been a very important time for developing musical potential and establishing a musical basis. For these reasons, the research of elementary music education based on understanding students characteristics and the elementary school system has been needed. Research studies on elementary music education have been conducted continuously, but most of them have been centered on music education-related institutes and art education-related institutes. Therefore, this study examined the trend of the research paper on music education published in the elementary education journals. In order to achieve this, the National Research Foundation of Korea were investigated to find registered journals which had the word ‘elementary’, and through this process, ‘The Korean Society for the Study of Elementary Education’ and ‘Seoul National University of Education Elementary Education Research Institutes’ were selected. Music education papers published in these two journals from 2000 to October 2018, were analyzed . According to the research results, the number of music education papers published in the elementary education journals was low, and the study subjects, research methods, and research areas tended to be concentrated in one. In order to advance the development of primary music education, it was hoped that the study of music education would be more actively conducted at the academic association for primary education, and that further research was needed to to study research trends in music education papers in more broaden scope of educational journals.
