청소년의 가족건강성과 셀프리더십간의 관계에서 자기조절능력의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 청소년들에게 필요한 역량으로서 강조되고 있는 셀프리더십에 영향을 미치는 변인으로서 가족건강성 및 자기조절능력의 역할을 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중ㆍ고등학교 5개교에 재학 중인 501명의 학생들을 대상으로 2015년 9월 5일부터 12월 12일까지 가족건강성, 자기조절능력, 셀프리더십의 세 가지 변인을 측정하기 위한 설문을 실시하였으며 수집된 데이터는 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 가족 건강성은 자기조절능력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 자기조절능력은 셀프리더십에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 자기조절능력은 가족건강성과 셀프리더십의 관계를 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 청소년에게 필요한 셀프리더십 향상을 위해 가족건강성과 자기조절능력의 지속적인 관리와 지원이 필요함을 시사해 주었다.

영문 초록

This study explored the role of family strength and self-regulation ability which affect adolescents’ self-leadership, a newly emphasized competency for middle- and high-school students. To do this, we administered three measures of family strength, self-regulation ability, and self-leadership to 501 students in five middle and high schools from September 5th through December 12th in 2015. Data from the survey were analyzed using the structural equation modeling. Main results are as follows. First, family strength had a significant effect on adolescents’ self-regulation ability. Second, adolescents’ self-regulation ability had a significant effect on their self-leadership. Third, self-regulation ability significantly mediated the relation between adolescents’ family strength and self-leadership and the pattern was a full mediation. The results of the study presented theoretical and empirical evidences suggesting that we should provide adolescents with continuous management and assistance for family strength and self-regulation ability in order to improve their self-leadership.
