중학교 1학년 학생의 직업체험활동, 생애목표가 진로정체성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 중학교 1학년의 직업체험활동(만족도, 연간참여시수)과 생애목표가 진로정체성에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 진로교육의 방향과 과제를 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 한국아동․청소년패널(KCYPS) 자료의 4차년(2013년)도의 직업체험활동에 참여한 중학교 1학년 631명의 데이터를 활용하였다. 직업체험활동(만족도, 연간참여시수), 생애목표, 진로정체성의 기술통계를 살펴본 후, 변인간의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하고, 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 직업체험활동에 참여한 중학교 1학년 학생은 가족목표, 사회기여목표, 성장목표 순의 생애목표를 보였다. 이들은 직업 직업체험활동에 만족하였고, 진로정체성도 중간 이상이었다. 둘째, 중학교 1학년의 진로정체감은 성장, 사회기여, 가족목표, 직업체험활동(만족도)과 정적인 상관을 보였다. 셋째, 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 생애목표(성장목표, 사회기여목표), 직업체험활동(만족도) 순으로 정적인 영향을 주었다. 또한 직업체험활동(만족도)과 진로정체감의 관계에서 생애목표는 부분매개를 하였다. 본 연구는 중학교 1학년 학생의 진로정체성을 위해 진로교육에 있어 생애목표를 고려한 진로교육내용 구성과 직업체험활동의 만족도를 느낄 수 있는 진로체험프로그램개발이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of life goals(family, success, self-growth, social condition), activity for career experience on career identity in first year students of middle school and present a right direction of career education for them. For this, the fourth data(year of 2013) of Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey were analyzed. The number of subject are 681 consisted with 282 boys and 349 girls who participated in the program of activity for career experience. This study was undertaken the descriptive statistics, the method of corelation analysis for exploring the relationship between variables(life goals, activity for career experience) and then hieratical multiple regression for exploring the effect on career identity. The results from this study were as follows. First, the goals of first year students of middle school were family goals, social condition-goals and self-growth goals. And it was shown that they were generally satisfied with activity for career experience and had moderate level of career identity. Second, the level of career identity among first year middle school students was positively related with life goal(self-growth, social condition, family goals) and satisfaction for career experience program. Third, the factors which influenced on career identity were life goal(self-growth, social condition) and satisfaction for career experience program in order. In conclusion, career experience programs need to be planned and developed to enhance self-growth goal and social condition goal to improve career identity of early youth.
