국문 초록

본 연구는 엄마됨의 경험한 유아교사들이 개인적 차원으로 어떤 성장적 경험을 가지는지, 유아교실 또는 세계와의 관계를 넓혀가는 교육적 경험들과는 어떤 연결점들을 가지는지에 초점을 두었다. 이를 위해 2015년 6월에서 8월까지 엄마됨을 경험한 유치원과 어린이집 교사 5명 을 목적표집하여 심층면담을 실시하였고, 수집된 면담 자료를 기초로 질적 연구의 주제 범주에 의거 분석하는 과정을 거쳤다. 연구결과, 엄마가 된 유아교사들의 경험과 엄마가 된 유아교사들의 경험에 대한 의미로 구성되었다. 먼저, 엄마가 된 유아교사들은 ‘새로운 주체로의 이행’, ‘체화된 경험을 통한 성장’을 경험하고 있었다. 다음으로, 엄마가 된 유아교사들이 갖는 경험에 따른 경험의 의미는 ‘개별 유아들에 대한 새로운 인식’, ‘부모·교사직에 대한 확대 된 이해’, ‘이성과 감성이 조화된 교육적 접근’으로 유목화되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the experience of motherhood and to deduce its meaning on experience of early childhood teachers. It was a process of deducing results by focusing on how experience of motherhood is related to the individual growth of early childhood teachers and how it is related to the educational experience of widening a relationship with classroom or the world. To this end, this study sampled and conducted in-depth interview on 5 kindergarten and daycare center teachers who experienced motherhood from June to August, 2015, and analyzed the collected interview data based on the subject matter category of qualitative research. As a result, it was identified that early childhood teachers who became a mother were experiencing ‘understanding of a new self’ and ‘growth through embodied experience.’ Secondly, the meaning of experience according to the experience of early childhood teachers who became a mother was classified into ‘new awareness for individual infant,’ ‘expanded understanding on parent·teaching profession,’ and ‘educational approach of harmonized reason and emotion.’
