초등학교 교사의 다문화 교수 역량이 다문화 효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 교사들이 지각하는 다문화 교수 역량이 다문화 효능감에 어 떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보는 데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 충 청북도에 근무하는 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종 초등 학교 교사 202명을 연구대상으로 통계분석을 실시하였다. 이에 대한 구체적인 연구 결론은 첫째, 초등학교 교사의 다문화 교수 역량과 다문화 효능감 간에는 높은 정적 상관이 있었으며, 다문화 교수 역량의 하위요인인 다문화 교수학습 기술, 다문화 태 도 및 관계, 다문화 관련 지식 요인은 다문화 효능감의 하위요인인 다문화가정 배려, 일반기능, 수업기능, 인간관계 요인 모두에 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 초등학교 교사의 다문화 교수 역량이 다문화 효능감에 미치는 영향관계 분석결과에 서, 다문화 교수 역량이 다문화 하위요인인 다문화가정 배려 요인, 일반기능 요인, 수업기능 요인, 인간관계 요인 모두에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나 타났다. 즉, 다문화 교수 역량의 하위요인인 다문화 교수학습 기술 요인과 다문화 태도 및 관계 요인은 다문화 효능감의 다문화가정 배려 요인, 일반기능 요인, 수업기 능 요인에 유의한 영향을 미쳤지만, 다문화 관련 지식 요인은 다문화 효능감의 하위 요인 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 또한, 다문화 효능감의 인간관계 요인에 영향을 미치는 다문화 교수 역량의 하위요인은 다문화 태도 및 관계 요인이었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how multicultural teaching competency perceived by elementary school teachers influences their multicultural efficacy. To attain the study goal, a survey was conducted to elementary school teachers working in Chungcheongbuk-do, and the questionnaire sheets collected from 202 elementary school teachers went through final statistical analysis. Through that, the study has drawn the following conclusions: First, there was high positive correlation between elementary school teachers’ multicultural teaching competency and multicultural efficacy. The subfactors of multicultural teaching competency, multicultural teaching-learning skills, multicultural attitudes and relationship, and multicultural knowledge, had significantly positive correlation with all the subfactors of multicultural efficacy, consideration of multicultural family, general skills, teaching skills, and interpersonal relationship. Second, according to the result of analyzing the effects of elementary school teachers’ multicultural teaching competency on their multicultural efficacy, multicultural teaching competency had statistically significant effects on all the subfactors of multicultural efficacy, consideration of multicultural family, general skills, teaching skills, and interpersonal relationship. The subfactors of multicultural teaching competency, multicultural teaching-learning skills and multicultural attitudes and relationship, exerted significant effects on the subfactors of multicultural efficacy, consideration of multicultural family, general skills, and teaching skills; however, the factor of multicultural knowledge did not have significant effects on any of the subfactors of multicultural efficacy. Also, the subfactor of multicultural teaching competency having effects on multicultural efficacy’s interpersonal relationship factor was multicultural attitudes and relationship.
