중등 영재학생의 자기결정성 동기와 성취목표지향성이 메타인지 및 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구는 영재학생을 대상으로 자기결정성 동기와 성취목표지향성이 메타인지 및 창의적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 메타인지가 매개역할을 하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 대학부설 영재교육원 학생 158명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였고 자료 수집은 2016년 8월부터 9월까지 이루어졌다. 각 척도에 대한 신뢰도를 살펴보았고, 기술통계 분석 및 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석과 3단계 매개회귀분석, Sobel 테스트를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기결정성 동기는 메타인지에, 성취목표지향성은 메타인지에, 메타인지는 창의적 문제해결력에, 자기결정성 동기는 창의적 문제해결력에, 성취목표지향성 중 숙달접근목표는 창의적 문제해결력에 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 자기결정성 동기 중 내재적 동기와 성취목표지향 성 중 숙달접근목표는 창의적 문제해결력 간의 관계에서 메타인지가 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자기결정성 동기 중 동일시 조절은 창의적 문제해결력 간의 관계에서 메타인지가 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 영재의 구인 인 창의성, 동기, 메타인지의 관계를 살펴보는 연구는 영재학생의 잠재력을 실현할수 있는 유용한 자료를 제공할 수 있으며 교육적 지침으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This research is to investigate how self-determination motivation and achievement goal orientation influence metacognition and creative problem solving ability of gifted students in secondary school, and if metacognition is working as a mediator for its influence. 158 students from a university affiliated school for gifted, were surveyed. Data collection period was from August 2016 to September 2016. The reliability of each scale was examined and descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, three-step mediated regression analysis and Sobel test were also conducted. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the regression analysis was conducted to find out the influence on relationships between; self-determination motivation and metacognition; achievement goal orientation and metacognition; metacognition and creative problem solving ability; self-determination motivation and creative problem solving ability; and mastery-approach goals in achievement goal orientation and creative problem solving ability. Second, metacognition was found to play a partially mediating role in intrinsic motivation of self-determination motivation and mastery-approach goals of achievement goal orientation in the relationship with creative problem solving ability. In addition, metacognition was found to play a fully mediating role in identification control of self-determination motivation in the relationship with creative problem solving ability. Any research that investigates on relationship of creativity, motivation and metacognition provides useful data to actualize gifted students potential and it can be used as an educational guidance.
