국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 어머니의 심리통제와 행동통제가 자녀의 자기조절력에 미치는 영향력을 살펴봄으로써 유아의 자기조절력 개발을 위한 연구의 기초자료를 제공하는것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 부산광역시내에 소재하고 있는 유치원 과 어린이집에 재원 중인 유아 226명을 대상으로 어머니의 심리통제, 행동통제, 그리고 자녀의 자기조절력 검사도구를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 자료분석을 위해 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 심리통제와 행동통제 그리고 자녀의 자기조절력 간의 관계에서 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 심리통제 및 행동통제가 자녀의 자기조절력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 심리통제와 행동통제는 자기평가에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 어머니의 심리통제는 자기결정, 행동억제, 정서성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 행동통제는 영향을 미치지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of maternal psychological control and behavioral control on children s self-regulation in an effort to provide information on the development of preschooler self-regulation. The subjects in this study were 226 selected preschoolers at kindergartens and daycare centers in the city of Busan. A maternal psychological control inventory, a maternal behavioral control inventory and a child self-regulation inventory were used to gather data. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, as for the relationships of maternal psychological control and behavioral control to the children s self-regulation, the former two variables were found to have been correlated with the latter. Second, maternal psychological control and behavioral control were found to have exercised an influence on the children s self- regulation. Third, maternal psychological control and behavioral control were found to have affected self-evaluation. Fourth, maternal psychological control was found to have had an impact on self- determination, behavioral inhibition and emotionality, and maternal behavioral control wasn t influential.
