국문 초록

이 글은 미디어에 익숙한 학습자들의 특성을 글쓰기 교육에 적용하여 글쓰기의 내용을 UCC 제작이라는 생산적 활동과 연계한 교수과정의 성과를 정리하는 것을목적으로 한다. UCC라는 영상매체가 도구적 중재로서 학습자들의 사고활동에 직접 적인 영향을 줄 뿐 아니라 체계적 둔감화의 역할을 담당함으로써 글쓰기에 대한 두려움을 해소시킬 수 있다는 점에 주목하여 궁극적으로 쓰기 활동에 동기를 부여하려는 목적으로 수업과정을 설계하였다. 1주∼7주차 수업과정은 다양한 표현의 방식에 대한 이해를 시작으로 글쓰기 과정에 대한 이론과 실습을 진행하였고, 9∼10주차 수업은 모둠별 토의를 거쳐 선정한 글쓰기 내용을 바탕으로 UCC를 제작하는 과정과 그 결과물에 대한 감상과 평가로 구성하였다. 학습자들의 서술형 평가지의 내용과 인터뷰를 정리한 결과 대체로 긍정적인 평가가 많아 기대했던 수업의 효과를 확인할수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to examine the process of course designed to achieve the ultimate teaching goal of college writing education, which is to foster writing skills of learners, by having them directly engage in UCC(User Created Contents) creating activities and to identify the accomplishments. I have associated the content of writing with the productive activities of creating UCC with the characteristics of learners familiar with the media applied to writing education. I have adopted the UCC as an ultimate motivation to engage in writing activities based on the fact that the video media called the UCC not only directly affects learners thinking activities but also plays a role of facilitating systematic desensitization as a tool mediation, thereby eliminating the fear of writing. The course is comprised of the basic understanding of various methods of expression, theoretical and empirical study on the writing process, creating a UCC based on the selected writing topic upon completion of group discussion, and the appreciation and evaluation of the outcome. The descriptive evaluations and interviews among learners have shown overall positive evaluation, which confirms the expected effect of the course.
