국문 초록

본 연구는 간호사를 대상으로 환자안전문화와 셀프리더십이 환자안전역량에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 B광역시와 Y시에 소재한 2개 대학교병원과 3개 종합병원에 근무하는 간호사 238명이다. 환자안전문화는 미국의 Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (2004)에서 개발한 것을 김정은 등 (2007)이 한글로 번역한 도구로 측정하였고, 셀프리더십은 Manz (1983)가 개발하고 김한성(2002)이 한글로 번역한 도구로 측정하였으며, 환자안전역량은 Schnell등(2008)이 개발한 것을 Lee 등(2014)이 수정 보완한 도구로 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계와 t-test, ANOVA, multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 셀프리더십과 환자안전문화가 환자안전역량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호사의 환자안전역량을 향상 시키기 위하여 셀프리더십을 높일 수 있는 다양한 교육 프로그램을 제공하고 환자안전에 대한 의료 인의 인식을 향상시켜 환자안전문화를 조성해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the related factors of patient safety competence of nurses. The data was collected from 238 nurses in two different university hospitals and three general hospitals in B metropolitan city and Y city. Patient safety culture of nurse was measured by a tool by the US’ Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (2004) and then translated by Kim Jung-eun et al. (2007) into Korean. Self-leadership was measured by Manz (1983) and then translated by Kim Han-seong (2002), and patient safety competence was measured by Schnall et al. (2008) and then modified and complemented by Lee et al. (2014). The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Factors influencing patient safety competence were self-leadership and patient safety culture. Based on the results, it is necessary to improve nurse’s patient safety competence various educational programs for enhancing self-leadership and creation of patient safety culture by raising awareness of patient safety in those involved in medicine.
