간호교육인증평가를 경험한 교수들에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호교육인증평가를 준비하는 교수들의 경험의 내용을 Colaizzi가 제시한 현상학적 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 교수들의 경험을 토대로 도출된 의미를 3개의 범주와 8개의 주제로 조직하였다. 첫 번째 범주는 ‘치열한 전투’이며, 주제는 ‘평가에 끌려가는 교수 현실’, ‘교수 정체성의 위기’, ‘교수 관계의 분열’이었다. 두 번째 범주는 ‘살기 위한 몸부림’이며, 주제는 ‘평가에 눌리는 학생들’, ‘평가에 밀리는 소중한 내 삶’이었다. 세 번째 범주는 ‘성숙함으로 승리’이며, 주제는 ‘사명감으로 거듭나는 교수’, ‘변화의 씨앗에 자족하는 교수’, ‘평가의 불평을 감사로’로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학 교육환경과 교수의 업무에 대한 이해를 높이고 간호학 교수의 삶을 재조명하는데 기여할 뿐만 아니라 교수가 대학 사회에 기여할 수 있는 효율적인 지원과 지지체계 마련의 토대를 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다. 따라서 기존 평가의 장점을 살리고 문제점 및 이에 대한 개선점을 도출하여 보다 바람직한 간호교육인증평가의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study applied, the phenomenological study suggested by Colaizzi, attempted to enable the professor of nursing to prepare the evaluation of nursing education accreditation based on experience. The meaning derived from the professors experiences was organized into three categories and eight themes. The first category is ‘fierce combat’. The subjects include‘Professor Reality overwhelmed by evaluation’, ‘Crisis of Professor Identity’ and‘Division of professor relation’. The second category is ‘biting for life’, The subjects were ‘Students oppressed by evaluations’ and‘My precious life back to the evaluation’. The third category is ‘victory from maturity’. The subjects were ‘Professor born with a sense of duty’, ‘Professor self-satisfied with the change of seed’ and ‘Gratitude from the complaints of evaluations’. This result is meaningful as it not only contributes to a better understanding of the professions of university education environment and professors but also provides a foundation for the efficient support system for professors in university society. Therefore, this study suggests the desirable direction of nursing education accreditation by utilizing the advantages of existing evaluation and finding the improvement from problems.
