일부 근로자의 구강관리용품 사용실태와 교육 요구도 조사

국문 초록

근로자가 산업장에서 노동과 노동조건에서 일어날 수 있는 구강건강 장애로부터 근로자를 보호하고 근로자의 구강건강상태를 유지 및 증진시키기 위하여 1995년 이후 근로자를 대상으로 건강검진과 구강검진이 함께 실시되고 있으나 성인에게 실시하는 일반적인 구강검진은 검진 결과만 통보 해주는 것으로 구강보건교육 및 구강병 예방처치 등에 대한 노력이 이루어지지 않으므로 근로자들의 구강건 강을 예방 및 증진시키기에는 사실 미흡하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라 일부 대기업의 근로자들을 대상으로 구강병 예방에 효과가 있는 칫솔질 및 구강관리용품의 사용실태를 파악하고자 2017년 8 월 9일부터 8월 26일까지 울산광역시 S사업장 근로자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 구강보건교육 경험을 분석한 결과 연령이 증가할수록 구강보건교육 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났 으며(P<0.001), 성별(P<0.005), 교육수준(P<0.001), 결혼여부(P<0.001), 근무형태(P<0.001)와 구강관리용품 교육경험은 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 구강보건교육경험이 있는 대상자는 향후 구강관리용품을 꼭 사용하겠다. 52.5%로 가장 높게 나타나 구강보건교육경험이 향후 구강관리용품사용여부에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(P<0.001). 본 연구결과를 통해 사업장에서 근무하는 근로자의 구강건강상 태를 최대한 유지하고 증진시키기 위해서는 근로자를 대상으로 구강병 예방을 위한 구강보건교육이 사업장 내에서 주기적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Workers want to protect workers from the oral health disability that can occur in labor and working conditions in the industry. Therefore, in order to maintain and promote oral health status of workers, health checkups and oral examinations were conducted for workers since 1995. However, since general oral examinations only report results, efforts for oral health education and oral disease prevention are not made. Therefore, it is not enough to prevent oral diseases and improve oral health of workers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of brushing and oral care products for the prevention of oral diseases among workers in some large corporations in Korea. From August 9, 2017 to August 26, 2017, the work was conducted for workers in Ulsan Metropolitan City. Data were analyzed with frequency analysis, χ2-test analysis SPSS 21.0.(P<0.001). As a result of analyzing the experience of oral health education according to the demographic characteristics, it was found that the oral health education experience was increased with increasing age (P<0.001). Gender, education level, marital status, working style and oral care education experience were statistically significant. The subjects with experience in oral health education were the most likely to use oral care 52.5% (P<0.001). In order to maintain and improve the oral health status of workers in the workplace, oral health education for the prevention of oral diseases should be conducted periodically in the workplace.
