장애유형별 장애인의 자립능력이 우울감에 미치는 영향: 가족 및 사회적지지의 완충효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 한국복지패널 9차년도 자료 중 장애인 부가조사에 응답한 575명의 장애인을 대상으 로 신체적 장애인과 정신적 장애인의 일상생활에서의 자립능력이 우울감에 미치는 영향에서 가족지 지와 사회적 지지의 완충효과를 파악하는데 연구의 목적이 있었다. 한국복지패널 9차 자료는 총 17,134명이 설문조사를 완료하였고 그 중 장애인 부가문항에 응답한 장애인은 575명으로 3.35%이다. 연구결과, 신체적 장애인의 자립능력이 우울감에 미치는 영향에서 가족지지의 완충효과가 유의미하였 고, 정신적 장애인의 자립능력이 우울감에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 완충효과가 유의미하였다. 그러나 신체적 장애인의 자립능력과 우울감간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 완충효과, 정신적 장애인의 자립능력과 우울감간의 관계에서 가족지지의 완충효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 따라서 신체적 장애인에 게는 가족지지가, 정신적 장애인에게는 사회적 지지가 중요한 것으로 나타나, 장애인의 장애유형별 우울감을 감소시켜 줄 수 있는 지지의 종류가 다름을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to apprehend the buffering effect of family and social support in influence of independent living ability of physically and mentally disabled people to depression targeting 575 disabled adults who responded to disability survey in the 9th year of Korean Welfare Panel. The ninth data of Korean Welfare Panel completed survey with 17,134 responders, among them, there were 575 disabled people who responded to additional questions regarding the disabled which was 3.35% of the entire responder. As the result, family support had significant buffering effect to the independent living ability of physically disabled people, while social support had significant buffering effect to the mentally disabled people. However, the buffering effect of social support in relationship between independent living ability and depression of physically disabled people, and buffering effect of family support in relationship between independent living ability and depression of mentally disabled people was not significant, Thus, it was confirmed that family support and social support was each important to physically disabled people and mentally disabled people, and verified that the difference types of support to decrease the depression by types of disability.
