한국연구재단의 학제간 융합연구지원사업에 대한 연구자들의 지원·선정 현황 및 융합연구자를 위한 시사점

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2009년부터 2015년까지 한국연구재단의 학제간 융합연구지원사업에 지원ㆍ선정ㆍ탈 락된 과제들을 분석하여 융합연구를 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 먼저 학제간 융합연구지원과 제들의 년도별 지원과제수/선정과제수 현황과 새싹형 과제 지원했으나 선정되지 않음/새싹형 과제 선정되어 진행/새싹형 과제 선정후 탈락 현황을 파악하였다. 더 나아가 새싹과제를 지원한 연구팀과 그렇지 않은 팀간에 그리고 새싹 과제에 지원 후 선정된 팀과 탈락한 팀 간에, 연구원들의 지역다양 성, 팀원수 규모, 평균 논문수, 평균 피인용수, 평균 연구책임 경험수, 평균 공동연구 경험수, 전공을 전환한 팀원의 비율, 인문사회분야 팀원의 비율, 그리고 남성 비율 측면에서 차이가 있는지를 살펴보 았다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 차기 과제의 성공적 진행에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 제안할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 융합연구자들이 보다 미래지향적이고 건설적인 방향을 모색하는 데 도움을 줄 뿐만 아니 라 향후 융합연구과제를 시도해 보고자 하는 연구자들에게 실질적으로 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we analyzed the projects that were applied, supported, and eliminated by in the interdisciplinary convergent research project of NRF(National Research Foundation) from 2009 to 2015. First, we identified the application number/ selection number status of interdisciplinary research projects and the number of teams which applied bud project but were not selected/ the number of teams which applied bud project and were selected/ the number of teams which were selected but were dropped. Moreover, we investigated if there was a significant difference in the regional diversity of researchers, the number of team members, the average number of papers, the average number of being cited, the average number of team leader experiences, the average number of collaborative research experiences, the percentage of team members who converted major, the percentage of humanities and social field researchers, and the percentage of male between the teams that applied the bud project or not and between the teams that were selected to proceed the bud project or not. Through this study, we could suggest factors influencing the success of the next project. This research is expected to help convergence researchers who want to pursue more future-oriented and constructive direction as well as researchers who want to try convergent research projects in the future.
