한국 D대학교의 역량기반 학과 교육과정의 성과평가 방법 개발에 대한 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 한국대학교육의 역량기반 교육으로의 변화 양상을 이해해보려고 한다. 2000년대 중 후반부터 역량기반 교육에 대한 논의가 활발해졌으며, 역량개념이 구체적으로 교육과정 편성 및 운영 의 정책으로 반영되고 학교 현장에 확산되고 있다. 이에 따라 한국의 대학교는 핵심역량을 개발하고 이를 기준으로 하여 역량기반으로 전공/교양/비교과 교육과정을 개편하고 질 관리 체계를 구축·운영 하고 있다. 역량기반 교육이 한국의 대학교육에 도입 된지 10여년이 되는 상황에서 한국대학교육의 변화를 실제적으로 탐구하는 연구가 활발히 이루어질 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국의 D대 학교에서의 역량기반 학과 교육과정 성과평가 방법을 구성해나가는 과정에 대해 살펴보려고 한다. 연 구결과, D대학교는 학과 교육과정 컨설팅을 통해 학과로부터의 성과평가 방안을 찾아갔으며, 학부교 육을 내실화하는 방향으로 학과 맞춤형 역량기반 교육과정 성과평가 방안을 마련해가고 있었다. 이러 한 연구결과를 토대로 역량기반 교육정책을 추진함에 있어 학과와 지속적으로 소통하면서 학과가 교 육변화의 주체가 되도록 운영하는 것이 필요함을 제언했다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the change aspect of Korean university education into competency-based education. Since the middle/late 2000s, the discussion of competency-based education has been activated, and the concept of competency is concretely reflecting to the organization of curriculum/operational policies, which is spreading to school site. Therefore, universities of Korea are developing the core competencies, organizing the curriculum of major/liberal arts/extra activity based on such competencies, and also establishing/operating the quality-control system. As it has been ten years since the competency-based education was introduced to the university education of Korea, it would be necessary to actively conduct researches actually studying the change in Korean university education. Thus, this study aims to examine the process of composing the performance evaluation method of competency-based department curriculum of D university of Korea. In the results of this study, D university found the measures of performance evaluation from departments through department curriculum consulting, and also established the measures of performance evaluation of department customized competency-based curriculum as a method to substantialize the department education. Based on such results, it would be necessary for departments to independently operate the educational change through continuous communication when carrying forward the competency-based educational policies.
