국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 AI 디지털교과서가 수업에 미칠 변화에 대한 초등교사들의 인식 유형과 유형별 특성을 분석하는 데에 목적이 있다. 방법 연구방법으로 Q 방법론을 활용하였다. 문헌 연구, 심층 면담 등의 과정을 통해 Q 진술문을 도출하였으며, 도출된 진술문을 바탕으로 Q 방법의 연구 과정에 따라 Q 분류를 실시하였다. 총 네 가지 유형이 도출되었으며, 유형별로 분류된 진술문과 연구 참여자들의 구체적 반응을 중심으로 유형을 명명화하였다. 결과 연구결과 AI 디지털교과서가 수업에 미칠 변화에 대한 초등교사의 인식 유형은 ‘수업 환경 통제에 대한 우려 증대’, ‘교사 역량에 기반한 수업의 긍정적 변화’, ‘맞춤형 개별학습을 위한 보조도구로써의 활용’, ‘디지털 역량 증진을 위한 수업 확대’로 나타났다. 한편, 네 유형 모두 효과적인 맞춤형 학습 지원 및 학습 진도 관리, 기술 의존성 확대 등에 동의하였으며, 수업 성찰, 교사의 자율성 감소, 학습 동기 증진 등에는 비동의하였다. 결론 AI 디지털교과서가 수업에서 긍정적으로 활용되기 위해서는 디지털 환경에 대한 사후 관리 방안 제시, AI 디지털교과서의 지속적 기능 개선, 디지털 역량 증진을 위한 수업 방법 및 내용의 보급, AI 디지털교과서 연수의 내실화, AI 디지털교과서의 도구적 성격 명확화 등이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to analyze the types of elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the changes AI digital textbooks will bring to classes and the characteristics of each type. Methods Q methodology was used as a research method. Q statements were derived through processes such as literature research and in-depth interviews, and Q classification was conducted based on the derived statements according to the research process of the Q method. A total of four types were derived, and the types were named based on the statements classified by type and the specific responses of the research participants. Results The research results showed that the types of elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the changes AI digital textbooks will bring to classes were ‘increased concerns about controlling the class environment’, ‘positive changes in classes based on teacher competency’, ‘use as an auxiliary tool for customized individual learning’, and ‘expanding classes to enhance digital competency’. Conclusions In order for AI digital textbooks to be used positively in classes, it is necessary to present a post-management plan for the digital environment, continuously improve the functions of AI digital textbooks, disseminate teaching methods and contents for enhancing digital capabilities, enhance AI digital textbook training, and clarify the instrumental nature of AI digital textbooks.
