일반계 고등학생의 진로개발역량 잠재프로파일 분석: 영향요인 탐색과 학업적 자기효능감·학습동기· 만족도 차이 검증

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 이 연구는 일반계 고등학생의 진로개발역량 수준에 따른 잠재 프로파일을 규명하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 학교 특성 요인과 학업 관련 심리적 특성(학교생활 만족도, 자율적 학습동기, 자기주도학습, 학업적 자기효능감)의 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 방법 한국직업능력연구원의 초·중등 진로교육 현황조사(2023) 데이터를 바탕으로 SPSS 26.0과 Mplus 8.8 프로그램을 활용하여 일반계 고등학생의 진로개발역량 잠재프로파일 분석(LPA)을 실시하였다. 또한 잠재프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 요인과 종속변수의 차이를 확인하기 위해 분류오류를 고려한 3단계 접근법(Vermnunt, 2010)을 사용하였다. 결과 고등학생의 진로개발역량은 ‘저역량 집단’(30.8%), ‘중역량 집단’(48.0%), ‘고역량 집단’(21.2%)의 세 가지로 분류되었으며, 각 집단은 직업이해, 낙관성, 의사소통 등 역량 요소에서 차이를 보였다. 주요 영향 요인으로는 희망 직업 유무, 희망 교육 수준, 학교 진로활동 만족도, 부모와의 대화가 중요한 변수로 나타났다. 또한, 진로개발역량 수준이 높을수록 학교생활 만족도와 학습 관련 변인들이 유의미하게 높아지는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 고등학생의 진로개발역량을 체계적으로 평가하고, 이를 바탕으로 맞춤형 진로교육 프로그램을 설계하는 데 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 특히, 진로활동 만족도의 중요성을 강조하며, 학생의 요구를 반영한 개별화된 진로교육의 필요성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to identify latent profiles of career development competency among general high school students and examine the effects of individual and school-related factors on these profiles, along with differences in academic-related psychological characteristics such as school life satisfaction, autonomous learning motivation, self-directed learning, and academic self-efficacy. Methods Using data from the 2023 Career Education Status Survey for elementary and secondary schools conducted by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET), a latent profile analysis (LPA) of career development competencies among general high school students was performed utilizing SPSS 26.0 and Mplus 8.8. Furthermore, to examine the factors influencing profile classification and differences in dependent variables while accounting for classification errors, the three-step approach proposed by Vermunt (2010) was employed. Results The analysis revealed three distinct profiles of career development competency: “low competency group” (30.8%), “moderate competency group” (48.0%), and “high competency group” (21.2%). Each group exhibited differences in components such as job understanding, optimism, and communication. Key influencing factors included the presence of a desired career, level of educational aspirations, satisfaction with school career activities, and parental communication. Additionally, higher levels of career development competency were significantly associated with greater satisfaction with school life and improved academic-related variables. Conclusions This study holds significance in systematically evaluating career development competency in high school students and providing foundational data for designing tailored career education programs. It emphasizes the importance of satisfaction with career activities and advocates for individualized career education that reflects the needs of students.
