목적 본 연구는 립모션과 햅틱 디바이스를 활용한 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 욕창 방문간호 교육이 간호대학생의 간호전문직 자기효능감, 임상추론역량, 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위함이다. 방법 본 연구는 단일군 전후 실험설계이며, Y시 소재 일개 대학에 재학 중인 4학년 간호대학생 68명을 대상으로 하였다. 립모션과 햅틱 디바이스를 활용한 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 욕창 방문간호 교육은 2주간 주 5회, 회기당 60분, 총 10회차로 진행되었다. 결과 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 욕창 방문간호 교육 후 실험군의 간호전문직 자기효능감(t=-9.72, p<.001), 임상추론역량(t=-8.12, p<.001), 임상수행능력(t=-9.39, p<.001)은 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론 본 연구는 립모션과 햅틱 디바이스를 활용하여 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 욕창 방문간호교육 콘텐츠를 개발함으로써 실제 지역사회 실무현장에서 현실과 가까운 방문간호 실무를 경험할 수 있도록 실재감을 향상시킨 욕창 핵심간호술을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증했다는 것에 의의가 있다. 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 욕창 방문간호 적용이 간호대학생을 위한 유용한 교육방법으로 간호교육 현장의 메타버스 콘텐츠 개발과 적용이 지속적인 노력으로 확대·운영이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a visiting healthcare education for preventing pressure ulcer based on the Metaverse platform using leap motion and haptic devices on nursing students’ clinical reasoning competency, nursing profession self-efficacy, and clinical performance. Methods A single group before- and after- experimental design was used. A total of 68 senior nursing students were recruited from one college in Y city. The visiting healthcare education for preventing pressure ulcer based on the Metaverse platform using leap motion and haptic devices was conducted five times a week for two weeks, 60 minutes per session, for a total of 10 sessions. Results There were significantly improved in experimental group in the clinical reasoning competency(t=-9.72, p<.001), nursing profession self-efficacy(t=-8.12, p<.001), and clinical performance(t=-9.39, p<.001) after a visiting healthcare education for preventing pressure ulcer based on the Metaverse platform using leap motion and haptic devices. Conclusions The significance of this study is that the visiting healthcare education for preventing pressure ulcer based on the Metaverse platform using leap motion and haptic devices would be effective in a real community practice settings. This visiting healthcare education may be a useful educational method for nursing students, and there is continuous efforts for applying this educational program in nursing school settings.
