국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생의 학업소진의 보호 요인을 탐색하기 위해 직업소진을 설명하는 주요 모델인 요구-통제-지지 모형을 대학생의 학업소진 현상에 적용하였다. 방법 377명의 수도권 소재 대학에 재학중인 학생들을 대상으로 학업소진, 학업요구, 학업통제, 부모의 자율성 지지, 교수의 자율성 지지를 측정한 뒤, 이론적 모형인 요구-통제-지지 모형에 근거하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 그 결과, 학업소진에서 학업요구의 효과를 통제한 상태에서 학업통제감은 학업소진을 감소시키는 데 유의한 효과를 보고하였다. 이에 다음 단계에서 부모의 자율성 지지와 교수의 자율성 지지를 투입하여 그 효과를 살펴본 결과, 부모와 교사의 자율성 지지는 모두 유의한 부적 효과를 보고하였으며, 상대적인 크기를 비교했을 때, 교수의 자율성 지지가 대학생의 학업소진을 감소시키는 데 더 큰 효과를 가지는 것으로 드러났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계, 후속연구에 대한 제언 또한 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study applied the demand-control-support model, which is a major model explaining job burnout, to the phenomenon of academic burnout of college students in order to explore the protection factors of academic burnout of college students. Methods After measuring academic exhaustion, academic demand, academic control, parental autonomy support, and professor autonomy support for 377 students enrolled in universities in the metropolitan area, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted based on the theoretical model, the demand-control-support model. Results As a result, academic control reported a significant effect on reducing academic burnout while controlling the effect of academic demand in academic burnout. As a result of examining the effects of parental autonomy support and professor autonomy support in the next step, both parents and teachers reported significant negative effects, and when comparing relative sizes, professor autonomy support had a greater effect on reducing college students' academic burnout. Conclusions Based on these results, the significance and limitations of this study and suggestions for subsequent studies were also discussed.
