목적 본 연구는 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화 프로그램이 발달장애성인의 자립생활능력에 어떤 변화 과정을 보이는지 살펴보고자 진행되었다. 본 연구에서 발달장애성인을 대상으로 한 맞춤형 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 통해 참여자들이 건강 관리, 가사, 직업 탐색 및 여가 활동을 능동적으로 수행할 수 있도록 지원하였다. 프로그램은 실생활에 활용 가능한 디지털 기술을 학습하고 응용하여 참여자들의 자립생활 능력을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 설계되었다. 방법 이를 위한 연구 방법은 질적인 방법을 통해 이루어졌다. 프로그램은 총 16회기로, 각 회기는 발달장애성인의 자립생활 요소 건강, 가사, 직업, 여가와 디지털 리터러시 구성요소 지식, 행동, 태도를 통합하여 설계되었다. 연구에 참여한 발달장애성인은 6명이며 본 연구의 자료수집은 참여자들의 사전, 사후 면담자료, 프로그램 활동자료, 보조강사의 참여일지, 연구자의 반성적 저널, 비디오 촬영을 통해 이루어졌다. 결과 연구 결과, 참여자들은 다양한 디지털 도구를 활용하여 자신의 건강, 가사, 직업 준비, 여가 활동을 기록하고 관리하는 방법을 배울 수 있었으며, 디지털 기술을 통해 자립적인 생활을 위한 능력을 향상하고, 자신감을 얻는 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였다. 결론 발달장애 성인의 자립적인 삶을 지원하기 위한 디지털 리터러시 교육의 필요성과 중요성을 강조하며, 향후 관련 프로그램 개발에 이바지할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the process of changes in independent living abilities of adults with developmental disabilities through a digital literacy skills enhancement program. This study developed a tailored digital literacy program for adults with developmental disabilities to enable them to actively manage their health, household tasks, career exploration, and leisure activities. The program was designed to enhance independent living abilities by teaching and applying practical digital skills. Methods The research was conducted using a qualitative methodology. The program consisted of 16 sessions, designed to integrate the independent living components—health, household tasks, career, and leisure—with the digital literacy elements of knowledge, behavior, and attitude. A total of six adults with developmental disabilities participated in the study. Data were collected through pre- and post-interviews, program activity records, assistant instructors’ journals, the researcher’s reflective journal, and video recordings. Results The findings indicate that participants learned to use various digital tools to document and manage their health, household tasks, career preparation, and leisure activities. Participants reported positive changes, including enhanced capabilities for independent living and increased self-confidence through the use of digital technology. Conclusions These results underscore the necessity and significance of digital literacy education in supporting the independent living of adults with developmental disabilities, providing valuable insights for the development of future programs.
