관심중심수용모형(CBAM)에 기반한 직업계고 교사의 교사 전문성에 대한 관심도 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 직업계고등학교 교사의 교사 전문성에 대한 관심 단계를 분석하고, 교사의 소속학교 특성과 교사 특성에 따른 교사 전문성에 대한 관심도의 차이점을 분석하고 개선 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 직업계고등학교 교사 460명을 대상으로 교사 전문성에 대한 관심도를 측정하기 위한 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 이에 대한 응답을 George et al.(2006)의 CBAM 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 직업계고 교사들의 ‘교사 전문성’에 대한 관심 단계를 7단계(무관심, 정보, 개인, 운영, 결과, 협력, 대안)로 범주화하여 그 경향성과 특성을 분석하였다. 결과 직업계고 교사의 교사 전문성에 대한 전반적인 관심 단계는 사용자 유형별 관심 단계 프로파일에 근거하여 볼 때, ‘비사용자’와 ‘재생산적 사용자’가 혼합된 특성을 보인다. 즉, 직업계고 교사들은 교사 전문성이 무엇인지 그리고, 개인적 측면에서 교사 전문성으로 인해 스스로 어떠한 변화를 겪게 될지에 관심을 가지고 있으나 결과적 단계에 관심도가 낮아, 교사 전문성으로 인해 학생의 성장에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해서는 상대적으로 관심이 낮은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 직업계고 전문교과 교사는 교사 전문성과 관련된 기본 정보와 교사 전문성으로 인한 역할 및 업무의 변화에 대해서 많은 관심을 가지고 있으므로 교사 전문성에 대한 보다 많은 정보를 제공하고, 교사들이 관심을 가지고 교사 전문성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안 마련이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of interest in teacher professionalism of vocational high school teachers, analyze the difference in interest in teacher professionalism according to the characteristics of their school and teachers, and seek ways to improve them. Methods To this end, a survey was conducted on 460 vocational high school teachers nationwide to measure their interest in teacher professionalism, and the responses were analyzed using George et al.'s CBAM model (2006). Based on the results of the analysis, the level of interest in ‘teacher expertise’ of vocational high school teachers was categorized into seven stages (indifference, information, personal, operation, results, cooperation, and alternative) to analyze their trends and characteristics. Results The purposes of this study were to specify variables related to convergence competency, and to analyze the structural relationships among them. Conclusions Vocational high school specialized subject teachers are very interested in basic information related to teacher expertise and changes in roles and tasks due to teacher expertise, so it is necessary to provide more information on teacher expertise and to prepare a plan to improve teacher expertise with interest.
