국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 사회적 지지가 다문화청소년의 이중문화수용태도에 미치는 영향력을 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계에서 자아존중감과 이중문화수용태도의 이중매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 방법 연구대상은 다문화청소년패널조사(MAPS) 2기의 1차년도 2,246명을 선정하였다. SPSS 23.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro 3.5를 활용하여 측정변수들 간 관련성을 살펴보기 위한 상관분석을 실시하였으며, PROCESS macro의 Model 6번을 사용하여 자아존중감과 이중문화수용태도의 이중매개효과를 확인하였다. 결과 첫째, 사회적 지지와 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 자아존중감의 유의미한 매개효과가 검증되었다. 둘째, 사회적 지지와 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 이중문화수용태도의 유의미한 매개효과가 검증되었다. 마지막으로 사회적 지지와 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 자아존중감과 이중문화수용태도는 유의미한 이중매개효과가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도에 사회적 지지와 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감 및 이중문화수용태도가 중요한 영향을 미친다는 근거를 제시함으로써 다문화 청소년의 삶의 만족도 증진을 돕기 위한 부모교육이나 다양한 장면에서의 교육 및 상담 프로그램을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study were to examine the influence of social support on the bicultural acceptance attitude of multicultural adolescents, and to confirm the dual mediating effect of self-esteem and bicultural acceptance attitude in the relationship between them. Methods To this end, 2,246 people in the first year of the second MAPS were selected as the subjects of the study. A correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between measurement variables using SPSS 23.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro 3.5, and the dual mediating effect of self-esteem and bicultural acceptance attitude was confirmed using PROCESS macro Model 6. Results First, the significant mediating effect of self-esteem was verified in the relationship between social support and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents. Second, the significant mediating effect of bicultural acceptance attitude was verified in the relationship between social support and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents. Finally, in the relationship between social support and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents, self-esteem and bicultural acceptance attitude showed significant dual mediating effect. Conclusions This conclusion indicates that the study provides basic data for parents education or counseling programs to help multicultural students improve their life satisfaction by presenting evidence that social support, self-esteem, and bicultural attitude have an important effect on life satisfaction.
