문화적응 스트레스가 다문화가정 청소년의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 문화적응 스트레스가 다문화가정 청소년의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 사회적지지가 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 학교생활적응 간의 관계에서 어떠한 조절효과를 나타내는지 검증하였다. 방법 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 다문화청소년패널조사의 종단연구 자료 중 초등학교 4학년을 대상으로 조사한 6차년도(2016년)에 참여한 1,635명의 중학교 3학년 자료에서 결측치를 제외한 1,329명의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 분석은 SPSS 18.0프로그램을 활용하였으며, 인구사회학적 특성과 변수들의 평균과 표준편차 확인을 위한 기술통계를 실시하고, 다중공선성 진단을 위한 피어슨상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 조절변수인 사회적지지의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하고, 구체적인 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 조절변수의 표준화점수에서 ±1SD과 평균의 기울기의 유의성을 검증하고 이를 그림으로 도식화하였다. 결과 본 연구의 주요결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화적응 스트레스는 다문화가정 청소년의 학교생활적응에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적지지인 가족지지, 친구지지, 교사지지는 다문화가정 청소년의 학교생활적응에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족지지, 친구지지, 교사지지 모두 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 학교생활적응의 관계에서 학교생활적응을 보호하는 조절효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 다문화가정 청소년의 학교생활적응을 위한 사회복지적 개입방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the effect of cultural adaptation stress on school life adaptation of adolescents from multicultural families and verified the moderating effect of social support in the relationship between cultural adaptation stress and school life adaptation of adolescents from multicultural families. Methods In this study, data from 1,329 out of 1,635 middle school seniors who participated in the sixth year (2016) of the Multicultural Youth Panel Survey conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were used for the final analysis. Results I The main results of this study are summarized as follows. First, it was found that cultural adaptation stress negatively(-) affects the school life of adolescents from multicultural families. Second, it was found that social support such as family support, friend support, and teacher support had a positive (+) effect on adolescents from multicultural families adaptation to school life. Third, it was confirmed that family support, friend support, and teacher support all have a moderating effect of protecting school life adaptation in the relationship between cultural adaptation stress and school life adaptation of adolescents from multicultural families. Conclusions Based on these research results, social welfare intervention measures were proposed for youth from multicultural families to adapt to school life.
