국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램을 적용하여 만 5세 유아들의 음악적 인지능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 실험집단 38명, 통제집단 37명 총 75명 만 5세를 대상으로 10주 동안 프로그램의 효과를 검증하였으며, 이를 위해 사전·사후 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 동질성을 검증하기 위해 SPSS 21.0을 활용하여 t-검증과 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 하였다. 주요 연구결과를 살펴보면, 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램 실시 전후 음악적 인지능력의 음높이, 셈여림, 음색, 리듬 영역과 각 영역의 하위 변수에서 모두 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 첫째, 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램 실시 전 후 음악적 인지능력의 하위 요인인 음높이 영역에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램 실시 전후 음악적 인지능력의 하위 요인인 셈여림 영역에서도 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램 실시 전후 음악적 인지능력의 하위 요인인 음색 영역에서도 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 마지막으로 음악중심 유아 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램 실시 전후, 음악적 인지능력의 하위 요인인 리듬 영역에서도 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The study focused on the effect of music - centered STEAM program on the cognitive development of music for young children age 5. The program was applied for 38 children of experimental group, 37 ones of control group, total 75 who are 5 years - old for 10 weeks, accompanied by pre and post inspections. The correlated t-test and ANCOVA using SPSS 21.0 was undertook to verify the homogeneity of the program. It indicated the distinguished changes in the area of pitch, dynamics, tone, rhythm of cognitive ability in music and related subordinate variables. First, it demonstrated the significant difference in pitch which is one of subordinate variables after the music- centered STEAM program application. Second, it revealed the denoting difference in dynamics which is one of subordinate variables after the music- centered STEAM program application. Third, it presented the convincing difference in tone which is one of subordinate variables after the music- centered STEAM program application. Lastly, it validated the worthwhile difference in rhythm which is one of subordinate variables after the music- centered STEAM program application.
