국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 간호학생을 위한 ‘핵심기본간호술기 애플리케이션(앱)’을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구는 간호술기를 학습할 수 있는 앱을 ADDIE 모델의 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가 5단계에 따라 개발한 방법론적 연구로 간호교육 전문가 5인과 간호학생 10인에게 앱을 사용하도록 한 후, 양적 방법으로 앱 사용성을 평가하고 질적 방법으로 앱 사용 경험을 탐색하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 앱의 특징은 첫째, 암환자 수술 전후 간호 학습과정 중에 간호술기를 녹아내 사례 중심으로 학습할 수 있도록 개발한 점이며 둘째, 간호술기 영상을 3인칭 관점이 아니라 1인칭 관점에서 촬영하여 학습자가 간호술기를 체험하는 경험을 할 수 있도록 개발한 점이다. 앱 사용성을 평가한 결과, 100점 만점에 91.6점으로 나타났으며 ‘내용의 사실성’ 은 93.0점, ‘접근성과 편의성’ 은 89.6점, ‘속도와 연결’은 90.6점, ‘전반적인 느낌’ 은 93.3점이었다. 앱 사용 경험은 2개의 중심주제와 4개의 하위주제가 도출되었고, ‘생생하게 간호 상황에서 간호술기를 학습함’을 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 교수자들은 간호술기를 교육할 수 있는 유용한 간호 앱으로 암환자 수술 전후 간호 내용이 현실감 있어 간호술기를 교육할 때 적극 활용되기를 기대한다고 하였다. 학생들은 시간과 공간 제약 없이 간호술기를 학습할 수 있었다며 술기 학습에 대한 접근성과 편의성을 경험하였고, 다른 술기도 학습할 수 있도록 유사한 앱이 개발되기를 기대한다고 하였다. 교수자와 학생 모두 최근 코로나19 팬데믹 상황에서 비대면 간호실습 중에 유용한 간호술기 학습도구가 될 것 같다며, 암환자 간호 상황에서 간호술기를 학습할 수 있었던 점과 기존의 간호술기 영상과 달리 1인칭 관점에서 간호술기를 학습하니 직접 술기를 하는듯한 생생한 경험을 할 수 있었다며 앱을 활용한 학습에 만족감을 표현하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 간호학생을 위한 핵심기본간호술기 앱은 포스트 코로나 시대의 비대면 간호실습교육에 보완적인 학습도구가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a core basic nursing skills application (app) for nursing students. Core basic nursing skills are nursing skills that must be learned and achieved during nursing education due to their high importance and performance frequency in nursing duties. An app that helps teach four nursing skills was developed based on the five stages of the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Among the 20 types of nursing skills suggested by the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education, intravenous injection, intradermal injection, urinary catheterization, and intramuscular injection were selected. The app was developed for case-based learning by integrating nursing skills into the nursing situation before and after surgery for cancer patients. It was also developed so learners can experience nursing skills through videos shot from the first person perspective instead of the third person perspective. The development of the app for nursing students was methodologically studied. Five nursing education experts and ten nursing students were asked to use the app. Then app usability was evaluated by a quantitative method, and the experiences of using the app were explored by a qualitative method. The results showed the score for app usability was 91.6 points out of 100 points, content accuracy was 93.0 points, accessibility and convenience was 89.6 points, speed and connection was 90.6 points, and overall impression was 93.3 points. The experience using the app was derived from two core themes and four subthemes, and it was found that the participants experienced learning vividly as if experiencing nursing skills in a nursing situation. Both nursing education experts and students stated that the app is likely to be a useful tool for learning nursing skills during non-face-to-face nursing practice in the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation. The core basic nursing skills app for nursing students developed in this study is expected to become a complementary learning tool for non-face-to-face nursing practice education in the post-corona era.
