부모의 긍·부정적 양육태도, 교사애착, 학업열의 간의 구조적 관계 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 부모의 긍·부정적 양육태도, 교사애착, 학업열의 간의 구조적 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 KCYPS 2018 자료를 사용하여 초등학교 4학년 2,607명(남 1,313명, 여 1,294명)의 자료를 분석하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 사용하여 모형을 검증하였고 교사애착의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 부트스트래핑을 통한 유의도 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 교사애착에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 부모의 따스함과 자율성지지, 그리고 구조제공과 같은 긍정적 양육태도가 아동이 교사애착을 형성하는데 도움이 되는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 둘째, 교사애착이 학업열의에 직접적인 정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 교사와의 애착은 아동이 학업현장을 신뢰롭고 안정적으로 인식하여 학업에 대한 열의를 증가시키는데 도움이 된다고 해석할 수 있다. 셋째, 부모의 양육태도가 학업열의에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 아동의 학업열의를 증진시키고 부정적 양육태도는 학업열의를 감소시킬 수 있다고 해석할 수 있다. 마지막으로 교사애착은 부모의 긍정적 양육태도와 학업열의 사이를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 부모와 교사 변인이 학업열의에 미치는 과정에 대한 이해에 도움을 준다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship among parenting attitude, teacher attachment & academic engagement. To do this, the data from Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018) to 2,607 4th grade elementary school students was analyzed. Statistical methods used for data analysis were the SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0. Study results were as follows: First, it was found that the positive parenting attitude of parents had a direct effect on teacher attachment. These results can be interpreted as that positive parenting attitudes help children to form teacher attachment. Second, it was found that teacher attachment had a direct effect on academic engagement. These results can be interpreted that teacher attachment helps children to increase their academic engagement by reliably and stably recognizing the academic field. Third, it was found that parenting attitude of parents influenced academic engagement. These results can be interpreted that the positive parenting attitude of parents can increase the children s academic engagement, and the negative parenting attitude can reduce the academic engagement. Finally, teacher attachment was found to mediate between parents positive parenting attitude and academic engagement. This study is significant in that it helps to understand the process of parents and teacher variables on academic engagement.
